M.V.Sc: B.V.Sc. & A.H. or equivalent degree with minimum OCPA of 6.00 (out of 10.00) or at least 60% marks in aggregate (other than in-service candidates).
M.V.Sc./M.Sc. (Animal Biotechnology) : Eligibility is (other than in-service candidates) is B.V. Sc. & A.H or B.Sc. (Biotechnology/ Medical) or B.Sc (Hons) Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology and Molecular genetics or equivalent degree with minimum OCPA of 6.00 (out of 10.00) or at least 60% marks in aggregate.
M.F.Sc: The minimum qualification for admission to M.F.Sc Programme (other than in-service candidates) is B.F.Sc from a recognized university with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
For In-service applicants, the OCPA shall be 5.50 (out of 10) OR 55% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination for all Master's Programmes.
The admission to Masters Programmes will be on the merit of qualifying examination passed.
Prospectus and application forms can be obtained from the office of the Dean, College of Veterinary Science, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana-141004, personally, from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm on all working days, on payment of Rs. 900/- in cash at the counter. It can be obtained by Post from the office of the Dean, College of Veterinary Science, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana-141004, by sending a Crossed Demand Draft for Rs. 950/- drawn in favour of the Comptroller, GADVASU Ludhiana-141004, payable at any Scheduled Bank at Ludhiana.
Last date for receipt of the filled application in the University is 30.6.2010. It will be accepted with a late fee of Rs.600/- till 7.7.2010.
