Students who are appearing for the qualifying examination in 2009 or who have passed in 2008 are eligible to appear in BITSAT-2009. Applicants should register for BITSAT 2009 by applying in the prescribed application form on www.bitsadmission.com The print-out of the completed form along with the prescribed fee of Rs.1000 (Rs.500 for female applicants)should be sent to the Admission Officer, BITS, Pilani-333 031.

Last date for the receipt of completed application is January 31, 2009.

Selection Procedure

All those who meet the minimum criteria for selection will be sent hall ticket for C-GAT which is to be held in Chennai, Delhi, and Mumbai.
Shortlisted candidates from C-GAT performance will be called for first round of interviews at the respective test centers to be conducted by SSN SASE faculty.
Further shortlisted candidates will be called for a joint interview by SSN SASE and Carnegie Mellon faculty members at Chennai.
Successful candidates will be offered admission letter by Carnegie Mellon University.
