Super Speciality Courses Admission Notice 2014-2015

BLDE University, Smt. Bangaramma Sajjan Campus, Sholapur Road, Bijapur - 586103, (Karnataka State) has invited applications for admission to Super Speciality courses.

Eligibility Criteria
The candidates who satisfy the following relevant eligibility requirements for admission to super speciality course will be considered eligible to appear for the BLDEU-SSET-2014 and subsequently for admission to the course.

Eligibility requirements to appear for BLDEU-SSET-2014 and admission to the medical super speciality course
1. MS in General Surgery / or equivalent qualification recognized by Medical Council of India.
2. Permanent registration with Medical Council of India / State Medical Council is mandatory.
3. As specified by Medical Council of India, the minimum percentage of marks in the entrance test for eligibility for admission to Post Graduate courses shall be:
a) General category 50 percent
b) SC / ST & OBC (OBC as declared by Government of Karnataka from time to time) Category 40 percent
c) Candidates with 40 to 70% locomotor disability of lower limbs (as certified by competent issuing authority) category 45 percent.

Department of Education, Delhi University has invited applications for admission to the Master of Philosophy (MPhil) and Doctoral (PhD) Programmes in Education, offered both in a full-time and a part-time mode during the August 2014 session.

MPhil:
Eligibility Conditions for Full-time Candidates:
i) The minimum qualifications for admission to the MPhil (Full-time) Programme shall be a Master's Degree of an Indian University or an equivalent degree of a foreign University, in Education, or an allied subject with a high Second Class i.e., minimum of 55% marks in the aggregate or an equivalent grade.

Eligibility Conditions for Part-time Candidates:
i) The minimum qualifications for admission to the MPhil (Part-time) Programme shall be a Master's Degree of an Indian University, or an equivalent degree of a foreign University, in Education or an allied subject, with a high Second Class i.e., minimum of 55% marks in the aggregate or an equivalent grade. ii) Preference will be given to candidates having experience of working as educational practitioners.

PhD:
Conditions of Eligibility and Process of Selection:
To be eligible for admission to the PhD programme, a candidate must have obtained a Master’s or an MPhil degree of the University of Delhi, or any other recognized University, or any degree recognized as equivalent in the subject in which the candidate wishes to pursue a course of research, or in an allied subject. She/he must have obtained either a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grading in the MPhil degree or a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grading in the Master’s degree. Students having fellowships and/or scholarships instituted by the University, national and international agencies under schemes approved/and recognized by the University of Delhi, through procedures laid down by the University, may be registered provisionally by the Departmental Research Committee (DRC) and Board of Research Studies.

Eligibility of Admission
Candidates shall be Indian Nationals employed in Kerala State.
Candidates shall have passed Diploma in Engineering / Technology awarded by the State Board of Technical Education
Candidates should be permanent technical / professional employment at the time of applying. As on 1st April of the corresponding year they should have at least one year of technical / professional experience after passing the Diploma Examination in any of the following type of establishments:
(i) Government Organizations.
(ii) Quasi- Government Organizations.
(iii) Industrial firms duly registered under Co-operative Society’s Act.
(iv) Public or Private Limited companies registered under Companies Act
(v) Private-aided Polytechnics and Private-aided and un-aided Engineering Colleges in the state.

Note:
(a) Employment for a period less than 6 months will not be reckoned for experience.

(b) One year Apprenticeship Training under Apprenticeship Act will be taken in lieu of experience on production of Certificate issued by the head of the organization.

(c) In the absence of eligible professionally employed candidates with minimum one year of experience as on 1st April 2014, application from those who are having lesser experience / non-professional experience also be considered. No weightage of marks for experience will be awarded to such candidates. A separate rank list will be published for them and the admission from that rank list will be considered only after the admission of professionally employed eligible candidates.

Applications have been invited for admission to the following courses of the Nataji Subhas Open university, 1, Woodburn Park, Kolkata - 700 020 for July-2014 session.

Eligibility: Passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination. Those who have passed BPP from NSOU or other recognized University are eligible to apply only for 1 & 2. Details are available in the admission website.

Duration: Minimum 3 years, maximum 6 years.
Course Fee: 1500/- per annum for BA and BCom 2200/- per annum for BSc (Candidates opting for lab-based subsidiary papers in science should pay 2500/- as course fee in place of 2200/-). Besides course fee, an amount of 430/- (100/- for Registration, 100/- for Identity cum Registration Card, 130/- as Annual Development fee and 100/- as Prospectus fee ) is to be paid at the time of admission to each course. Annul Development fee of 130/- is to be paid in subsequent years i.e.at the time of renewal in the 2nd year and 3rd year along with course fee.

In addition to the fees payable to University, each student will be required to pay an amount of 35/- extra as collection charge payable to the respective branches of Allahabad Bank.

Steps to be followed are as stated in the following:
Step (i) The applicant need to fill-up and submit on-line, the application form and take print out of the filled in application form & three-part pay-in-slip from admission website www.wbnsouadmissions.com

Step (ii) The applicant needs to attach necessary documents with the filled-in computer generated application form and then is required to report to the Study Centre, of his/her choice during its working hours to have it checked and verified by the coordinator concerned.

Step (iii) The applicant then needs to visit any branch of Allahabad Bank during banking hours to deposit his/her admission and application fees using the pre-printed challan collected at the time of on-line submission and stamped by the co-ordinator on verification. After due payment he/she must obtain from the bank two copies of Bank Challans, one copy for his/her own record and one copy for the University.

Step (iv) Then he/she needs to submit within stipulated date the computer generated application form, necessary documents, photograph and university copy of the challan obtained from the bank to the Study Centre. He/she will collect a copy of the University prospectus from the study centre

Selection Procedure:
A. An All India combined entrance test (MCQ) for admission to BAMS & BHMS courses in RG Govt. PG Ayurvedic College, Paprola, (Kangra) and Solan Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital (Pvt), Kumarhati, (Solan) H P respectively will be held on 13-07-2014 (Sunday) at Dharamshala, Hamirpur, Mandi and Shimla Examination Centres for which ONLINE Application forms from the eligible candidates are invited through H.P. University Website www.hpuniv.in  / www.hpuniv.nic.in.  The schedule for filing online application form for this entrance test will be 12.06.2014 to 03.07.2014. Thereafter, the link will be disabled. The desirous candidates are advised to be ready with soft copy of passport size photograph and scanned copy of signatures in jpg. before filling online application forms.
Number of Seats:
i) In BAMS Course, 41 seats out of total 50 seats will be filled up from eligible Bonafide Himachali Candidates under Group-1. Two seats are reserved for Govt. of India Nominees (Allocated to the state of J & K) under Group-II. Out of Remaining seven seats under Group - III, one seat shall be reserved for Malaysian Nationals and one for ICCR sponsored candidate. Remaining five seats under Group-III shall be filled up on All India Basis in which Bonafide Himachali who have applied under Group-I shall also be considered.

ii) In BHMS Course, 47 seats out of total 75 seats will be filled up under State Quota and remaining 28 seats under Management Quota Seats.
(Note: The admissions to the BAMS Course will be subject to approval of the CCIM and Central Council (CCH) in case of BHMS.)

Educational Qualification for BAMS Course:
The candidates should have passed 10+2 from H.P. Board of School Education or its equivalent examination from any recognized Board /University established by law in India with 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (40% marks in case of SC/ST/OBC) and must have passed English as an elective subject. Provided further that GOI Nominees, for 2 seats in BAMS Course should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects securing minimum 55% marks.

Educational Qualification for BHMS Course:
The candidates should have passed 10+2 from H.P. Board of School Education or its equivalent examination from any recognized board / University with Physics, Biology, Chemistry and English as Elective Subjects.
Note: The candidates appearing in the qualifying examination and whose results are still awaited can also apply but their candidature will be provisional and subject to fulfillment of minimum eligibility criteria by the time of Counselling.
