BE.d Admission Notice 2014-2015
Applications in prescribed online format are
invited for admission to BEd Programme (session 2014-2015) at the Department of
Education, Aliah University in the following disciplines:
1. Islamic Theology
2. Arabic
3. Urdu
4. Persian
5. Bengali
6. English
7. Mathematics
8. Geography
9. Islamic History/ History
10. Physical Science
Eligibility
Criteria:
i) For Sl. Nos. (1) to (9) candidates with at least
50% marks in 3-yr. Honours Graduation / 2-yr. Master’s Degree / 5-yr.
Integrated Master’s Degree in respective discipline be eligible to apply.
ii) For Sl. No. (10) Candidates with at least 50%
marks in 3-yr. Honours Graduation / 2-yr. Master’s Degree / 5-yr. Integrated
Master’s Degree in Physics / Electronics / Chemistry be eligible to apply.
iii) There shall be relaxation of 5% marks for
Differently Abled Category candidates.
iv) Candidates, having Hons / P.G. in Stat. /
Computer Application / Computer Science / Computer Science & Engineering or
Information Technology, shall be eligible to apply and in this case they shall
have to take Mathematics as the 1st Method subject. List of those applicants shall
be prepared with applicants for the subject, Mathematics.
Age Limit:
For Fresh Candidates age should not exceed 35 years
as on 30th June, 2014. No age limit for Deputed Candidates. There shall be
relaxation of 5 years for fresh Differently Abled category candidates.

Application
Fee: Applicants have to pay an application fees of Rs.450/- by Internet
Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card. ‘Confirmation sheet’ generated at the time of
applying online is to be submitted. Applicants will have to send testimonials
(self-attested) in support of age, qualifications (mark sheets) , experience
(if any), fee receipt (if any) along with the filled-in ‘Confirmation sheet’ in
a sealed envelope (super-scribing name of the subject) to The Deputy Registrar,
Aliah University, 6th Floor, DN-18, Sector-V, Salt Lake, Kolkata- 700 091 latest by 30.06.2014
till 5:00 pm.
