Eligibility
The minimum qualification for admission to the course is a Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3 system) preferably with Honours in Arts / Science / Commerce / Business Administration or Bachelor's Degree (10+2+4 system) in Engineering / Technology / Medical Science / Law / Professional Courses / or its equivalent from any University recognized by the University of Calcutta.

Preference is given to persons having sports background.

Age Limit:
Maximum age limit is 30 years.

Selection Procedure:
Selection is made through a written test in English. Final Selection is made through group discussions and personal interviews from the candidates who will qualify in the written test. Advertisement in the media is issued in May, announcing the commencement of admission for each Academic Session.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION
For Physical Science Group, pass in SSLC/THSLC or its equivalent with Mathematics as one of the subjects and with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary course under Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala.

For Integrated Science Group, Pass in SSLC/THSLC (IHRD only) or its equivalent with Biology and Mathematics as subjects of study and with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary course under Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala.

Maximum age limit is 20 years as on 1-6-2015. In the case of SC/ST candidates the upper age limit will be 22 years as on 1-6-2015. (Those born on or after 1.6.1995 and in the case of SC/ST, those born on or after 1.6.1993 are eligible)

Students from CBSE Schools can apply for XIth Std. admission only if they appeared for the CBSE Board Examination. Application form should be submitted alongwith a copy of Hall ticket of CBSE Board Examination. If the Hall ticket is not available, the applicant must enclose a declaration showing that they have appeared for the CBSE Board Examination, in the stamp paper worth Rs. 50/-.

Application and prospectus can be had from the above Technical Higher Secondary Schools up to 22.5.2015 on payment of Rs.100/- (Rs.50/- for SC/ST candidates). The registration for Joint Entrance Exam (Advanced) for the session 2015 has started. The candidates who have cleared JEE (Main) and meet the eligibility criteria can apply now.

Instructions For Uploading Documents During Online Registration:
The scanned images of photograph, signature, left hand thumb impression and certificates must be in jpg/jpeg format only.
File size for the photograph, signature and left hand thumb impression must be greater than 10kB and less than 40kB.
Size of the photograph image must be in the ratio of 3.5 (width) : 4.5 (height) only.
The photograph must be in colour and must be taken in a professional studio (not mobile/self composed photo).

Registration Procedure: 3 Simple Steps to be followed
Step 1: Fill the registration forms:
The candidates should login using the roll number of JEE (Main), password created during JEE (Main) registration and security pin. If the candidates furnish this information successfully, then system will prompt for change of password. Once the registration is completed, the page containing the JEE (Main) score and all personal, academic and contact details as furnished to JEE (Main) will be displayed. The candidates are required to provide additional information for JEE (Advanced) like choice of examination centres, language of question paper, eligibility for DS category and Class 12 (or equivalent) examination Board's roll no.

Step 2: Upload the certificates:
Thereafter, the candidates are required to upload the photograph, signature, thumb impression and scanned certificates of Class 10/DOB proof, Class 12 (or equivalent) examination, category, PwD, Scribe Request Letter and DS certificate as applicable in JPG/JPEG format.

Step 3: Pay registration fee:
Without paying the fee, the process of registration remains incomplete. The candidates are required to pay the fee by using a debit card/credit card/internet banking. Also, the candidates can pay the fee using the SBI cash option.


The JEE (Advanced) Paper I and Paper II will be held on May 24. The admit cards will be released on May 11 and will be available till May 14.

The University offers MFA (Master of Fine Arts) Degree in Visual Arts (Painting, Mural Painting & Sculpture)

The intake capacity is 07 seats each

Eligibility
A candidate seeking admission for the 2 year Master of Fine Arts Degree Programme shall fulfill the following condition

a) Candidates should have passed the Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts of any University recognized by Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate

b) No person shall be eligible for admission to a PG Program if he/she is currently on the rolls for a PG Program in another discipline offered by the University

Those regular students under Credit and Semester System of BFA Program who have successfully completed all the courses and semesters of I to VII Semesters and appeared for all the courses of the final semester Degree Exam in April 2015 are also eligible to apply for M.F.A Program on condition that they must produce Provisional Certificate by 31st August 2015

The candidates shall produce Transfer Certificate, Conduct Certificate; Mark lists and other documents at the time of the interview

Those candidates who are selected for admission to the course will have to submit the final year degree mark sheets/provisional degree certificate on or before 31st August 2015

Selection Procedure

The admission to the MFA Programme shall be made on the basis of written test, academic record and interview/portfolio/performance. Seats are reserved for SC/ST/Backward class students as per Govt. rules

All eligible candidates applied for admission to MFA Program will be called for an Entrance Exam/Interview to be conducted in May 2015

The examination is intended to test the ability of the candidate to pursue the subject of study; the time allotted for written test is 1 hour and the test carries a maximum of 50 marks and portfolio presentation cum interview carries a maximum of 50 marks

The entrance test and aptitude test to candidates will be held in Main Centre at Kalady

How to Registrar the Applications:

Candidates seeking admission to MFA Programme in the University are directed to submit the application through online in the University website www.ssus.ac.in / www.ssusonline.org on or before 20th May 2015

The fee for entrance exam is Rs.250/- (SC/ST candidates need pay Rs.50/- only)

The fee for Entrance Examination should be paid along with the application by way of SSUS chalan receipt which can be remitted at any branch of the Union Bank of India

The fee can also be remitted by way of DD drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit payable at Union Bank of India, Kalady branch

Submission of Print Copy of online Application:

The print copy of the online applications should be submitted to Assistant Registrar (Examinations), Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady P.O., Ernakulam District, Kerala , Pin-683574 on or before 20th May 2015 with copies of all documents in proof qualification, community/caste etc. and the original fee receipt/Demand Draft

Reservation of Seats: Reservation of seats for the categories of SC/ST/OBC/OEC/SEBC and blind/differentially abled/orphans/sports/NCC/NSS/Kalathilakam/Kalaprathibha/Ex-service men will be extended as per relevant Govt/University Orders, provided the candidates shall produce the necessary valid certificates to prove their eligibility at the time of admission
