Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management (IISWBM), Kolkata has invited applications for admission to the Two year Master Degree programme in Public Systems Management (MPSM) of Academic Year 2015-16 in the following streams: Environment Management, Energy Management, Transportation & Logistics Management and Health Care & Hospital Management.

Eligibility:

The minimum qualification for admission to the Course is a Bachelor?s Degree (in 10+2+3 system) with Honours / Major in Science / Commerce / Art/ Business Administration or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Technology / Medical Science / Law or its equivalent from any University recognized by the University of Calcutta.

Although all graduates are eligible to apply for MPSM Courses, however preference for specialization is given to the graduates as indicated below :

Environment Management:

Engineering Graduates/ Science Graduates.

Energy Management:

Graduates in Engineering or AMIE in Electrical or Mechanical, or Science Graduates with Physics/Mathematics/Economics.

Transportation & Logistics Management:

Engineering/Science/Commerce/Economics Graduates.

Health Care & Hospital Management:

Bachelor Degree in any branch of Medical Science/ Pharmacy/ Biological Science/ Social Science & Nutrition.

Brochure and Application Forms can be obtained from Reception Counter of  IISWBM, Management House, College Square (West), Kolkata 700073 on cash payment of Rs.900/- or against Bank Draft of Rs. 950/- payable on any bank at Kolkata in favour of IISWBM.

Eligibility

Preference is given to persons having sports background.

Selection is made through a written test in English. Final Selection is made through group discussions and personal interviews from the candidates who will qualify in the written test. Advertisement in the media is issued in May, announcing the commencement of admission for each Academic Session.

Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management (IISWBM), Kolkata, has invited applications for admission to MPhil in Management of Calcutta University for 2014-2015 session

Eligibility:

Master's degree in Management, Commerce, Social Welfare or equivalent.

Any candidate who has a Master's degree in Management, Commerce, Social Welfare or its equivalent from Calcutta University, with 55% marks in aggregate (SC/ST with 50% marks) or with 60% marks in aggregate of any other recognized University may apply for the MPhil Programme in Management

Admission:

Applications will be screened by the MPhil Board of Studies and shortlisted candidates will have to appear for an entrance examination. Candidates who have qualified in NET, SET or equivalent national level examination will be exempted from the Entrance Test. Candidates who qualify in or are exempted from the written test will be called for an interview.

Preference in allocation of seats will be given to teachers of management institutes and MBA students. Total seats per session will be 15.
