The Two year - Full time Post Graduate Programme was introduced in July 2007 and the successful students are awarded with "Post Graduate Diploma in Management" (PGDM).

The program has been devised with vision and great care. It is intensive and exhaustive in coverage and content. This is complemented by a degree of flexibility and a practical real-world approach built into each subject syllabi to absorb and stay aligned with contemporary developments in the Indian and International business environments.

The Programme consists of six trimesters spread over two years. The first three trimesters during the first year cover primarily core courses and the last three trimesters during the second year mainly focus on the elective specialisation courses along with a few value added courses.
 
 
About the Programme
The Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) Programme of Bhavan's Usha & Lakshmi Mittal Institute of Management (BULMIM) is part of Bhavan's pioneering efforts to impart knowledge and skills for the holistic development of aspiring student managers.
Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Delhi Kendra has been in the forefront of Organising management courses for practicing manager. The PGDM Programme, therefore is the culmination of their rich academic resources aim long experience in the field of business management.
It aims to equip the students to confront contemporary business problems in different environment, and develop in them a sound business acumen for decision making.
The programme has been designed with a view to offer an intensive learning curriculum in combination with hands-on training in industrial setting.
 
Duration 
The programme is full-time non-residential and of two year duration comprising six trimester.
 
Eligibility for Admission 
The minimum qualification of candidates seeking admission to the programme is Bachelor's Degree in Arts, Science, Law, Commerce, Medicine, Engineering or Technology from any recognised university in India and abroad or an equivalent degree or diploma recognized by UGC.
In addition, the candidate must have appeared at any of the major national level management aptitude test such as CAT, MAT, XAT or ATMA.
Final year students of graduation are also eligible to apply, provided they submit evidence of completed graduation within 90 days of the commencement of the programme. Defaulters' admission would be cancelled. There would be no refund.
 
Procedure for Admission
The information bulletin and the application form can be obtained from the office on the payment of Rs. 900/- in cash or Rs. 900/ - by a Demand Draft drawn in favour of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan payable at New Delhi. For NRI sponsored / International candidates, the equivalent amount is payable US$ 15. The fee for prospectus and application shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
The application form can also be downloaded from our website (www.bvbspccm.org) or (www.bulmim.ac.in) and the same will be accepted by the Institute on payment of Rs. 900/- drawn in favour of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan payable at New Delhi or US $15.
 
Selection Process 
Successful candidates demonstrate their abilities through the application and essays, the two references and the compulsory face-toface interview. Please note that only short listed candidates are called for interview. Admission to the PGDM Programme at Bulmim is merit based. Short listing of candidates is done on the basis of their cumulative performance in written examination & interview through three stages process in addition to academic performance up to graduation:

Stage 2 Group Discussion (GD) & Test
Stage 3 Personal Interview (PI)

 
Fees
Total Tuition fees (2009-2011): Rs. 4.15 Lakhs plus Rs. 10,000 security deposit (one time payment, refundable). The other expenses, if any, are on actuals.
The payment of fee would be as follows:

Rs. 115000/- plus Rs. 10000/- at the time of admission offer to the students.
Rs. 100000/- in first week of December 1st year.
Rs. 100000/- in first week of July next year.
Rs. 100000/- in first week of December next year

Fee includes tuition fee, cost of books and reading material. Laptop is currently provided to each student without any additional cost.

About the Programme
With an intensive curriculum, the programme, Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDM) offers an enduring knowledge base, aims to equip the students to face practical business problems in different perspectives and inculcates sound business practices to face contemporary business solutions.
The 3-year PGDM (Part Time) management programme has been devised with vision and great care. It is intensive and exhaustive in coverage and content. At the same time there is a degree of flexibility and a practical realworld approach relevant in the Indian and International business environment. To respond to the need of the time, new courses and subjects are being introduced from time to time in this programme. Ours may be one of the first business schools to introduce Ethics in business, Computerised Business System, Computerised Financial Accounting, Software Engineering, Enterprise Information System, CRM etc. in the curriculum.
 
Duration
The programme duration consists of three academic year's duration; each year is divided into two semesters. The 2009-2012 session will commence in July 2009. Classes will be held from 6.15 pm to 8.30 pm on all days of the week except Sunday and notified Holidays. However, Seminars / Special classes may be scheduled on Sundays and other holidays.
 
Eligibility For Admission
The minimum qualification of candidates seeking admission to the programme would be a Bachelor's in Arts, Science, Law, Commerce, Medicine, Engineering or Technology from any recognised university or an equivalent degree or diploma.
Candidate having experience as executives, supervisors in commercial or industrial organizations/ Government/ Defence personnel/ self-employed and possessing adequate knowledge of business operations will get preference.
Short listed candidates qualified in MAT would be called for a test, GD and interview.
Final year students are also eligible to apply if they are looking for job after graduation provided they submit evidence of graduation within 90 days of the commencement of the session. Defaulters' admission would be cancelled. There would be no refund.
 
Procedure For Admission
Candidates seeking admission to the programme are to register their names with the institute by filling up the application form (attached with the prospectus) in all respects and should be submitted alongwith:
Five recent passport size colour photographs.
Photocopy of Degree/Provisional Certificate.
Mark sheet of the last degree examination passed
A character certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended
One copy of receipt of Rupees 900/- for PGDM (Part Time) entrance examination. Outstation candidates may deposit the amount through Demand Draft in favour of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, payable at New Delhi. Cheque will not be acceptable.
Employed candidate are required to submit detail regarding the nature, length etc. of their service.
Admission to the programme will be made on the basis of a written test, group discussion, Interview etc. The candidates selected will be required to complete all admission formalities and pay the fees within one week of the announcement of the admission through display of the list on the notice board.
All admissions made will be provisional unless approved by the Admission Committee of the Institute which has the right to reject any application without assigning any reason thereof.

We invite applications from highly motivated candidates, willing to take up challenges in modern biology, for admissions to our Research Scholars program. Keeping in view the interdisciplinary nature of modern biology, we especially encourage persons from diverse backgrounds to apply. Those admitted as Research Scholars would be encouraged to apply for the Ph.D. program of Manipal University or University of Hyderabad.

Eligibility: M.B.B.S. or Masters degree in any branch of Science, Technology, or Agriculture  from a recognized University / Institute.   Candidates (other than MBBS graduates) must have cleared the CSIR/UGC/DBT/ICMR/ICAR NET for JRF. Those who have appeared, but are awaiting results, are also eligible to apply.     However, only those candidates will be considered who produce proof of having cleared the CSIR/UGC/DBT/ICMR/ICAR NET JRF except for M.B.B.S. Admission to CDFD-Research Scholars program is based on a 2-tier system involving a written / online   examination followed by interview of candidates who have qualified the written / online examination.  

CDFD is pleased to announce upto two research fellowships for the candidates with MBBS.  The admission procedure will remain the same. 

In the case of candidates whose JRF examination results are announced before the written / online  test of CDFD takes place,  and have qualified the NET with fellowship, they will be eligible to appear for the CDFD examination upon furnishing the relevant details of having cleared the JRF/NET with fellowship.

Eligible candidates will be called for  written /  online  examination at CDFD on  13.12.2009 (Sunday). Those who qualify the written  examination will be interviewed on  14.12.2009 (Monday).   No TA/DA will be paid.   Director, CDFD reserves the right to accept / reject any or all applications without assigning any reasons whatsoever.

(b) Sciences & & HSS: M.Sc./M.A. degree with first class or equivalent in respective or allied areas with a valid GATE/ UGC Net/ CSIR JRF/ NBHM score. However, for sciences, a student with M.Tech (any branch) but with a Master's degree in the corresponding branch of science can also apply.

 

General Information
Financial support (i.e., assistantship or scholarship) will be provided to all students, who are Indian citizens, enrolled in the PhD program and who do not receive any other form of financial assistance.

Applicants working in Government of India R&D Laboratories also are eligible to apply to PhD Programs. Such applicants
(a) need to be deputed on leave by the parent department,
(b) do not require GATE qualification, and
(c) will not be paid any assistantship or scholarship by the Institute.
