application. Attest the photo in the printout copy with a Gazetted Officer and
forward to the Director, School of Distance Education, University of Calicut,

Defence Institute of Physiology and Allied Sciences
(DIPAS) provides an excellent opportunity for young and motivated researchers
to pursue a career in basic and applied Life Sciences research. DIPAS endeavors
in optimizing human performance under extreme operational environments using
physiological, biochemical, nutritional and ergonomic approach. The labs are
equipped with state-of-art facilities to conduct human studies, animal and
in-vitro experimentation with an interdisciplinary approach. Cutting-edge
technology (Micro-Array facilities, MALDI-TOF, Human Decompression Chamber,
CAD, Bio informatics and Nanotechnology) at the institute encompasses broad
interdisciplinary areas-Physiology; Biochemistry; Bio medical Sciences;
Biotechnology and Organic Chemistry/Phytochemistry.
Applications are invited from young and motivated
candidates with CSIR/UGC/ICMR/DBT/DST fellowships for the post of Junior
Research Fellows to work in ongoing and future research projects at DIPAS.
Minimum qualifications:
M.Sc in Life Sciences (Physiology/ Biochemistry/
Bio Medical Sciences/ Biotechnology) and Organic Chemistry.
CSIR/UGC/ICMR/DBT/DST qualified only (with
fellowship validity upto December 2014)

Eligible candidates should send their duly complete
application form before 01.11.2013 till 1700hrs. Eligible candidates can appear
for a walk-in-interview at 10:00 hrs on 12.11.2013 at DIPAS, Lucknow Road, Timarpur,
Delhi-110054.
Travelling allowances (TA) will not be admissible
for the interview.
Candidates will be required to produce
certificates/testimonials in original at the time of interview.
Admission shall not be claimed by any candidate as
a matter of right. The admission shall be entirely at the discretion of the
Selection Committee of the Institute which may refuse to admit any candidate
without assigning any reason thereof. Number of seats for JRF may increase or
decrease without prior notice.

Shiv Nadar University’s School of Management and
Entrepreneurship (SME) is launching its maiden program, the Master of Business Administration
in 2014. The 2 year, full time, residential program is designed specifically to
respond to the needs of industry and to provide a high quality education to
students who have the passion to develop themselves into outstanding leaders of
organizations. SME’s MBA program will offer an electives based structure for
students to explore diverse areas of importance to business management based on
their interests.
Eligibility
to Apply:
You must hold a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent,
with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA from any of the recognized
Universities, Deemed Universities, Institutions of National Importance or from
a Professional Body including ICAI, ICSI, ICWAI, etc.
You can also apply if you are awaiting the result
of the final year. In such case, conditional offer of admissions will be made
subject to obtaining the minimum required scores in the final examination. You
will be required to produce a certificate latest by July 31, 2014 from the
Principal/Registrar of their college/institute stating that you have completed
all the requirements (the results may, however, be awaited) for obtaining the
bachelor’s degree/ equivalent qualification on the date of issue of the certificate.
The transcript of the final examination will have to be submitted at the
Registrar’s office latest by October 31, 2014.
Application
and Selection Process:
The selection for SME’s MBA program will be through
a 3 step process:
Step 1 Application: You will need to make a
detailed application online in the prescribed format here. Please ensure the
information you provide is accurate and detailed.
Step 2 CAT or GMAT Score: You can apply for
admission based on your CAT (conducted by IIM’s) or GMAT score.
In case you are seeking admission based on CAT
score, the scores should only be from CAT 2013. Also, provide your unique CAT
registration number in the application form without which the application form
will not be processed.
In case you are seeking admission through GMAT, the
test should have been taken on or after August 1, 2011.
Step 3 Essay and Personal Interview: Based on the
above two steps, a selected number of candidates will be invited for Personal
Interview at SNU Campus between February and March. The candidates will also be
required to demonstrate their analytical and writing skills by writing an essay
on a topic given on the spot.

Rs. 1,000 (One Thousand Only) by credit/debit card or Demand Draft drawn in

The fees for SME’s MBA program is Rs. 9 lakhs for

campus is mandatory for students. This fees does not include mess charges (pay
per meal basis), laundry charges (fixed) and other living expenses.

ADMISSION
Admission to the fully residential two year PGDFM
is open to graduates from any discipline provided he/she fulfils the
eligibility criteria and qualifies through the selection process.
Eligibility
Applicants should have at least a three-year
bachelor's degree in any discipline obtained through the 10+2+3 system or an
equivalent qualification recognized by the Association of Indian Universities
(AIU), with a minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/DA) or equivalent
CGPA.
Candidates appearing for the final year graduation
examination are also eligible to apply provided they complete it before June
30, 2014 and fulfill the eligibility criteria as set by IIFM.
Admission
Procedure
STEP-1:
Common Admission Test (CAT)
All applicants desirous of seeking admission in
PGDFM at IIFM have to appear for Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by
Indian Institute of Management (IIMs), by responding to their notification
published in leading national dailies. IIFM will use the CAT score for
short-listing the candidates for calling for GD/PI. IIMs have no role either in
the selection process or in the conduct of the programme.
STEP-2: IIFM
Application Form:
In addition to CAT, the candidate should also apply
to IIFM separately through one of the following ways:-

900/- (Rs 450/- for SC/ ST) through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Netbanking.
Apply online through MPOnline authorized KIOSK
Centre (click here to see the list of MPOnline
authorized KIOSK) and remit the application fee in cash.
Download the application click
here and send it along with Demand Draft of Rs 900/- (Rs 450/- for SC/ST) with
all attachments by speed post.
Obtain admission bulletin and the application form
personally or by post by sending a Demand Draft of Rs 900/- (Rs 450 for SC/ST)
in favour of Director, Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal
Application complete in all respect including the
CAT registration number (which will be available on CAT vouchers issued by IIM)
should reach IIFM Bhopal on or before 21st January 2014.
STEP-3:
Group Discussion/Interview:
Candidates shortlisted on the basis of CAT score,
will be called for Group discussion and Interview at Bhopal, Delhi, Bengaluru
and Kolkata based on the choice of candidates, as mentioned in the Application
Form. However, IIFM reserves the right on the allotment of choice of centre to
the candidates.
Reservation
15%, 7.5%, 27% and 3% of the seats are reserved for
candidates belonging to the SC, ST, Non-Creamy-OBC and DA, (also referred to as
Persons with Disability (PWD) respectively, provided they meet the minimum
selection criteria as specified by IIFM.
Scholarship
to SC students
IIFM is recognized as an Institute of Excellence
under the Central Sector Scholarship Scheme of Top Class Education for
Scheduled Castes (SC) Students offered by the Ministry of Social Justice and
Empowerment, Government of India. This scholarship (total 4) is available to SC
category students at IIFM subject to fulfillment of the conditions laid down by
the Ministry. The scholarship will cover expenditure of full-fee and lodging
boarding charges, books and stationary charges at a fixed rate. A laptop for
eligible candidates will also be provided during their study at IIFM.
Scholarship
to ST students
IIFM is also recognized as an Institute of

Other
Important Information
Providing inaccurate or incomplete information or
malpractice of any kind or canvassing will result in disqualification of the
candidate.
The PGDFM bulletin will be dispatched to the
candidates after receiving their application along with the required
application fee. IIFM will not be responsible for any postal delay or loss. If
a candidate, after having made a request to IIFM with the requisite money, does
not receive the bulliten, she/he may enquire about it through email, phone, and

Please note that admission under any category is

Candidates willing to pursue the research work leading subsequently to Ph.D.
(Science) degree in Electronic Science of the University of Calcutta should

a) Ph.D. in Systems Engineering
Applicants with bachelor’s and master’s degree in
any branch of Engineering must have a minimum of 60% marks or 6.0 CPI (on a 10.0
point scale) at the master’s degree level. Applicants with bachelor’s degree in
any branch of engineering must have a minimum of 75% marks or 7.5 CPI (on a
10.0 point scale) at the bachelor’s degree level. The applicants with
bachelor’s degree should also be qualified in GATE for the award of Institute
Assistantship.
b) Ph.D. in Industrial Management
Applicants with bachelor’s degree in any branch of
engineering and master’s degree in any branch of engineering/management must
have a minimum of 60% marks or 6.0 CPI (on a 10.0 point scale) at the master’s
degree level.
