Management Aptitude Test (MAT) by All India Management Association (AIMA), for admission to various management courses of its 375 member Institutes across the country, will be commenced from 03 May 2015 (Sunday).

Graduates in any discipline can apply for the test. Final year students of Graduate Courses can also apply.

Candidate can choose any one of the two options to take the test: Paper-Based Test Or Computer Based Test.

Paper Based Test will be conducted on 03 May 2015 (Sunday) from 10.00am-12.30pm and Computer Based Test from 09 May 2015 (Saturday) onwards.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Graduate work in Nalanda is multidisciplinary, intense and intellectually demanding. The University has high academic standards and each School has specific requirements. The requirements specified below are the minimum necessary for graduate admission to the University. Higher academic or language requirements may be specified by each School. You are normally expected to hold or to have achieved the following:

For Indian students

A minimum of three years Bachelor’s degree is required.55% marks or equivalent from any reputed and recognised University.

For graduates from all other countries

A candidate shall be eligible for admission at Nalanda University, if he/she possesses a three year Under Graduate degree from a recognized university/institution If your institution uses the Grade Point Average (GPA) system you should normally have obtained or expect to obtain a GPA of at least 3.2 or above on a 4 point scale.

English Proficiency: A requirement for all candidates

The University requires all applicants to demonstrate a high level of competence in the English language, as all courses will be conducted in English. Adherence to this requirement is strict. Students must be able to demonstrate that they are able to communicate in English at a level suitable to the Graduate Programs.

Any one of the following will be accepted as evidence of competence in English:

For graduates from non-Indian universities scores of one of the accepted English Language tests (TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC,PTE,STEP)

Indian students must have completed their undergraduate education in English as the medium of instruction and examination. (A certificate to this effect is needed).

ELIGIBILITY: B.E/B.Tech. in any branch of Engineering/ Technology with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or 1st class Master’s Degree in any branch of Physical/ Chemical/ Mathematical Science like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Application, Electronic Science, Environmental Science, Operation Research, Computation/Information Science or Master’s Degree in Commerce/ Economics. However, a relaxation of 10 per cent to SC/ST/PWD and 5 per cent to OBC categories candidates shall be given in eligibility criteria. Those who are appearing in final semester examination may also apply.

INTAKE & RESERVATION OF SEATS

The annual intake of this programme is 91. The reservation of the seats for SC/ST /OBC and PWD are as per the Policy of the Government of N.C.T. of Delhi.

Diploma in Radiological Physics Admission Notice 2015

Applications have been invited by Regional Cancer Centre [RCC], Trivandrum for admission to Post-M.Sc. Diploma in Radiological Physics (DipR.P.) Course of year 2015-16.

Duration of the Course:

Two years including one year mandatory internship in RCC in Radiodiagnosis, Radiotherapy and Nuclear Medicine.

The date of commencement of the course will be 1st June 2015 or as certified by the Director, RCC. Students will be provided a stipend of Rs.6000/-per month during the one year of internship.

Eligibility for admission:

Applicants should satisfy the following conditions:-

a) Nativity: Should be an Indian Citizen

b) Basic Academic Qualifications:

A pass in Full time M.Sc. Physics conducted by any of the UGC approved Universities in India with 60% marks in aggregate of the subjects. In case of Grade System, grade to percentage of marks conversion scheme obtained from University should be submitted along with the application.

Note: Candidates who have appeared or are appearing for the M.Sc. Physics examination may apply but the provisional/ PG Degree certificate should be produced at the time of admission if selected, failing which admission will not be granted.

c) Age: as on 01-01-2015: General: 26 years

OBC: 29 years

SC/ST: 31 years

d) For physically challenged candidates, there is a relaxation of age by 10 years. Only candidates with physical disabilities limited to the lower extremities, are able to stand and move and are physically able to carry out the course requirements will be considered. Persons with visual and hearing disability and loco-motor disability involving upper limb are not eligible for admission.

Admission:

Admission will be made on the basis of an entrance test with objective type questions of 2 hours duration followed by an interview.

The entrance examination shall have multiple choice type questions for a total of 100 marks and they would cover subjects as detailed below:

M.Sc Level Physics - 60 marks

B.Sc. Subsidiary level Mathematics  20 marks

B.Sc. Subsidiary level Chemistry 10 marks

Basic Human Physiology and Anatomy 10 marks

Interview 20 marks

Entrance test will be conducted only if the number of eligible candidates is equal to or more than four times (16) the number of seats. Otherwise selection will be made based on marks scored in qualifying examination (MSc) and Interview.
