Applications are invited for registration to Full time / Part time Ph.D. Programs in Engineering / Science / Business Administration / Computer Applications and M.Sc. (Engg.) by Research programmes as per prevailing regulations of Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum.
The candidates are required to submit the application with all requisite documents mentioned in the application form along with a DD of Rs. 200/- drawn in favour of Finance Officer, VTU, Belgaum.

2) Last date for issue of application form 14 Feb 2009
3) Last date for receipt of completed application forms 14 Feb 2009
Technical Aptitude Test Date : 15 March 2009 (Sunday)
Time : 11.00 am to 1.00 pm
Places : Bangalore & Belgaum
Note:
1) Those who were qualified in Technical Aptitude Test held after 01-9-2006 till date by VTU & Rejected after scrutiny, such candidates are need not appear once again for Technical Aptitude Test. However they are required to send fresh application for Ph.D./M.Sc.(Engg) registration with any proof for having already appeared Technical Aptitude Test during the past three years and qualified, from the date of fresh application.
2) Candidates who have qualified in GATE or equivalent National level test within past 5 years or in the university level Research Aptitude Test, the result of which shall be valid for a period of three years. Such candidates are also exempted from Technical Aptitude Test, however they shall also submit the application.
