Eligibility Criteria

The minimum qualification to apply for admission to the Master of Social Work (MSW) programme in Amrita University is a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from an Institution or University which is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), or any degree equivalent to the Bachelor's degree. (Those who are appearing for their final year degree exam are also eligible to apply.) Experience as a volunteer in any social service project or activities is a desirable qualification.

 

Selection Procedure

Selection of students shall be based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination (academic achievement), a personal interview, essay writing on topics related to social issues and the candidate's motivation to study at the MSW program at Amrita.

 

How to Apply

Applications can be obtained in-person from the campuses, through the post, or downloaded from their website

The application form can be purchased at the campuses on payment of Rs.250/- as a Demand Draft in favor of "Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham", payable at "Coimbatore".

Download the application form and send the filled in application form along with a DD of Rs.250/- in favor of "Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham" payable at "Coimbatore" to either of the addresses mentioned below.
