Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test - 2010 (PGMET - 2010)

The Post-Graduate Medical Entrance Test (PGMET) and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) for admission to the following courses will be held on Saturday, the 06th February, 2010 at Delhi. Interested candidates may apply on the prescribed form.

The selection of candidates for Delhi University Quota seats of the above courses will be made by the University from the Medical Graduates (MBBS) and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) of the University of Delhi only. Seats of All India Quota in MD (Community Health Administration) and Diploma in Health Education (DHE) will also be filled up by the University on All India basis.

How To Apply: Application Form along with Bulletin of Information may be obtained from the office of the Deputy Registrar, Faculty of Medical Sciences, 6th Floor, VP Chest Institute Building, University of Delhi, Delhi- 110007 against a crossed Bank Draft/ Banker's Cheque drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of the Registrar, University of Delhi payable at Delhi in the following manner:

Sale of Bulletin of Information wef Monday the 07th December, 2009.
By hand for Rs 1,500/- (Rs One Thousand Five Hundred only) for General and OBC Category candidates and Rs. 1,000/- (Rs One Thousand only) for SC/ST/PH Category candidates, between 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. on all working days upto 07.01.2010. No cash payment will be accepted.
By post for Rs 1,550/- (Rs One Thousand Five Hundred and Fifty only) for General and OBC Category candidates and Rs 1,050/- (Rs. One Thousand and Fifty only) for SC/ST/PH Category candidates, along with a self addressed envelope of 10" X 8" upto 29.12.2009.

Note:
1. Candidates are required to apply separately for MD (Community Health Administration), Diploma in Health Education (D.H.E.) and other Post-Graduate (Degree/ Diploma) courses.

2. The candidate should mention his/ her name and address at the back of the Bank Draft/ Banker's Cheque. The candidates are advised to retain a photocopy of the Bank Draft/ Banker's Cheque.

3. The Admission Notice / BOI along with Application Form is also available at University.

 

Procedure for submission of application form for admission:

1.Candidates, who wish to apply for more than one of (i) M.D. (Community Health Administration), (ii) Diploma in Health Education (D.H.E.), (iii) Other Post-Graduate (Degree/ Diploma) and MDS courses, should apply on separate application forms for each of the above mentioned courses.

2.The application complete in all respects must also be accompanied by attested copies of the under-mentioned certificates as per requirement of the course applied:
High School/ Higher Secondary Certificate for verification of date of birth.
Certificate in support of educational qualification: M.B.B.S. Degree/BDS Degree/ Master's Degree/ Bachelor's Degree – as per requirement of the course.
Detailed marks certificate of qualifying examinations: I, II & Final Professional examination of M.B.B.S./BDS or year-wise detailed marks certificates of Master's Degree/ Bachelor's Degree, as required course-wise.
The compulsory rotating internship certificate.
Registration Certificate from Delhi Medical Council/ State Medical Council/ Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India.
Schedule Caste/ Schedule Tribe/OBC certificate, if applicable.
Non-creamy layer certificate and OBC caste certificate as per the Central list published by the National Commission for OBC.
Employer's Certificate and a No Objection Certificate (NOC), if employed (as given in the application form).
Certificate in support of having put in five years service: only in case of candidates seeking admission to MD (Community Health Administration) course.
Certificate in support of experience required for candidates applying for admission to DHE course.
