The Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University invites application for admission to Ph.D. Research Program in Law (Part Time) for the academic year 2010 - 2011.
The Research Department of Law, University Campus, Chennai - 28.
(As per UGC Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D Degree Regulations 2009).
Eligibility for TNDALU Admission 2010 :
Ph.D. :
Essential Qualifications : Candidates desirous of applying for Ph.D. in Law shall have a ML. Degree Course / LL.M. with 55% marks or its equivalent grade from any recognized University.
Candidates who have completed their Master's Degree in Law prior to the year 1991 should have atleast a minimum of 50% of marks.
In case of SC / ST and PWD candidates 5% concession in marks is given as per the regulations of the Government and UGC.
Mode of Selection :
Selection will be based on the marks secured in the written test followed by interview to be conducted by the University. State Government rules relating to reservation shall apply. The Date of written test is 17 July, 2010.
TNDALU Application Forms 2010 :
TNDALU Application Form can be had in person or by post from the following address on a written request along with the Demand Draft for Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) in person; Rs.1050/- by post, towards the cost of application form drawn in favour of "The Registrar, The Tamil Nadu Dr.Ambedkar Law University", payable at Chennai.
TNDALU Application Forms will be issued on all working days between 10.00 a.m. and 05.00 p.m. from 22 June, 2010 to till 09 July, 2010.
The last date for issue and submission of forms is 09 July, 2010.
Filled in applications should reach the Chairman, Ph.D. Admissions - 2010 on or before the last date prescribed.
The applications received after the due date will be summarily rejected.
