Ph.D. in Hindi Admissions 2011

Department of Hindi, University of Calcutta, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission to Ph.D Programme in Hindi for the Academic Year 2011.

Major thrust areas in which Research activities are being actively pursued  are:

Hindi Fiction
Journalism
Criticism Poetry
Theories of Literature

Application forms are to be submitted to Department of  Hindi, 87/1, College street campus, University of Calcutta, Kolkata-700073 on prescribed form which can be availed from Office of Calcutta University, by paying Rs.100/- through a challan.

Important Dates:
Last date for submission of application form : 08.03.2011
Date & time of written examination for admission : 22.03.2011 at 1- 3 p.m.
Date of interview : 05.04.2011 at 12 noon.

Those candidates who have already passed JRF/NET/SET or equivalents or passed M.Phil. need not appear for the admission test but shall have to appear in the interview on the date mentioned above.
