KLE UNIVERSITY ALL INDIA ENTRANCE TEST – 2011 (KLEU-AIET-2011)
The University shall be conducting KLE University All India Entrance-Test-2011 (KLE-AIET-2011) for various Under-Graduate courses viz. MBBS, BDS, BPT, BAMS, B.Sc. Nursing, Post Certificate B.Sc Nursing & B. Pharm., and Post-Graduate courses viz. MPT, M.D Ayurveda, M.Sc Nursing & M. Pharm. in the respective constituent units of the University viz.
1.: Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belgaum (Estd. 1963)
2.: KLE VK Institute of Dental Sciences, Belgaum (Estd. 1985)
3.: KLE College of Pharmacy, Belgaum (Estd.1968)
4.: KLE College of Pharmacy, Hubli (Estd 1995)
5.: KLE College of Pharmacy, Bangalore (Estd 1992)
6.: KLE Shri B.M.K Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya, Belgaum (Estd. 1933)
7.: KLE Institute of Physiotherapy, Belgaum {Estd. 1994)
8.: KLE Institute of Nursing Sciences, Belgaum (Estd. 1987)
The KLEU-AIET-2011 will be conducted between 2:00 - 5:00 PM on Saturday, the 7th May 2011 at Twenty centers across the country viz. Belgaum, Bangalore, Pune, Ahmedabad, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Vijaywada, Kolkata, Panjim, Indore, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Coimbatore, Tirupati, Guwahati, Kottayam, Mumbai, Nagpur, Rajkot and Chennai. Date of Entrance Examination: 7th May 2011
Last date for receipt of completed application: 25th April 2011
Eligibility: MBBS/BDS: Only those candidates who would satisfy or are likely to satisfy the relevant eligibility requirements for admission to a course will be considered eligible to appear for the KLEU All India Entrance Test (KLEU-AIET – 2011) & subsequently for admission to that course.
B.Pharm
i) Passed 10+2 exam with Physics &Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the mathematics/ Computer Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Biology. Obtained at least 50% marks in the above subjects together.
iii) Lateral entry in 2nd year B. Pharm for D. Pharm candidates passed from an AICTE approved institution with at least 50%marks.
iv) 5% relaxation in Minimum eligibility criteria for SC/ ST category
Duration: 4 Years
M.Pharm
50% marks obtained in Bachelors in Pharmacy or equivalent degree.
5% relaxation in Minimum eligibility criteria for candidates belonging to SC/ST category.
2 Years
B.A.M.S
i) 50% and above aggregate marks in P.C.B in 10+2.
ii) Pass in English.
Duration: 4 ½ years + 1 year internship

Duration: 4 Years including 6 months Internship
P.C. B.Sc (N)
i) Passed in G.N.M. (Diploma programme).
ii) To be a Registered Nurse).
iii) Be Physically fit (Certificate to be issued by Registered Medical Practitioner).
Duration: 2 years
M. Sc (Nursing)
i) 55% and above aggregate marks in B.Sc (Nursing) Basic / Post Basic B.Sc (Nursing).
ii) Be a registered Nurse.
iii) Possess at least one year of experience.
iv) Be Physically fit (Certificate to be issued by Registered Medical Practitioner)

Printout of the application form along with DD for Rs. 1,500/- payable at Belgaum drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of Registrar KLE University, Belgaum has to be sent by post or submitted in person to the Registrar's office,KLE University, Belgaum, So as to reach on or before 20th April, 2011 by 5.00 pm.
