M. Tech Computer Science Admissions 2011-2012
Applications are invited for M. Tech Programme in Computer Science with specialization in Image Processing during the academic year 2011-12 to the following Engineering colleges under IHRD.
1. Model Engineering College, Thrikkakara (www.mec.ac.in)
2. College of Engineering, Chengannur (www.ceconline.edu)
3. College of Engineering, Karunagappally (www.ceknpy.ac.in)
Eligibility:
Qualification
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering in the branch of Computer Science & Engineering or Information Technology of a recognized university with a minimum 60% aggregate or equivalent. OR
MCA degree with minimum 60% aggregate or equivalent. OR
Five year integrated M.Sc. Degree in Software Engineering with minimum 60% aggregate or equivalent OR
AMIE/AMIETE in Computer Science with minimum 60% aggregate or equivalent
2. Valid GATE score with eligibility for fellowship. Sponsored Candidates are not eligible for fellowship from AICTE.
3. In the absence of sufficient GATE qualified candidates, score in the entrance test conducted by the institution shall be considered for ranking.
4. For Sponsored candidates, minimum of 2 years Experience will be required.
Application Forms:
Submit the application on-line through the corresponding college website (www.mec.ac.in, www.ceconline.edu , www.ceknpy.ac.in ) . The printout of the filled in on-line application form along with supporting documents should be accompanied by a demand draft for Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ST candidates) drawn in favour of Principal of the concerned college where the applicant desires admission, payable at the place where the college is located, and should be submitted to the Principal of the concerned college on or before 26/08/2011, 4 PM.
Documents to be submitted along with application form:
True copy of SSLC/equivalent certificate mentioning the Date of Birth of the applicant.
Community Certificate and Income Certificate if applicable, from the Tahsildar / Village Officer concerned.
True copy of Degree certificate of Qualifying Examination.
True copy of mark list of Qualifying Examination.
True copy of GATE Score card.
Employment Certificate, Experience Certificate and Sponsorship Certificate from the concerned Organization (for Sponsored candidates)
