25 general category BTech seats vacant at Cusat

After the spot counselling on Thursday, a total of 25 general category seats remain vacant for Cusat BTech admission this year. Nearly 60 NRI category seats too remain vacant at the varsity.
The university now proposes to hold spot counselling for all candidates with a valid CAT Rank, including those who have not registered their options this year, for the remaining vacancies on September 24. Spot counselling for candidates who have applied online for NRI spot admission will be done on September 26. Candidates coming for this admission should bring the print out of their online application form with the signature of the candidate and the parent.
If there are still vacancies , another spot counselling will be held on September 28, which will be the last spot counselling. CAT score will not be the basis of this admission. All candidates who have secured 50 percent marks for mathematics and 50 percent for mathematics, physics and chemistry put together at Plus Two level will be eligible to appear for this spot counselling.
Points to remember:
Interested candidates who are already admitted in CUSAT can also attend the spot counseling scheduled above.
Candidates attending the above counseling should report before 10:00 AM. Registration will be closed at 10:00 AM sharp. Candidates reporting after 10:00AM will not be considered under any circumstance.
If allotted, Candidate should submit all the documents in original and should pay the required fees in full for confirming their admission.
No refund of fee will be made for cancellations done after 28/09/2011.
Candidates admitted through spot counseling will not be updated to other branches.
