Tamil Nadu DNT & DIP Admissions 2011



Applications have been invited by Board of Examinations for Diploma Courses in Indian Medicine & Homoeopathy, Directorate of Indian Medicine & Homoeopathy, Arignar Anna Government Hospital of Indian Medicine Campus, Chennai for admission to Diploma in Nursing Therapy (DNT) and Diploma in Integrated Pharmacy (DIP) Courses of Academic Year 2011-12.

1. Eligibility: The candidate should be a citizen of India.

2. Nativity: The candidate should be a native of Tamil Nadu. Except those candidates who have studied in a school in the State of Tamil Nadu from 8th standard to plus Two, others should produce the Nativity Certificate in the format prescribed from the competent authority.
The candidates who are the children of parent of Tamil Nadu origin living in other states should also produce the Nativity Certificate as mentioned above.
Producing false Nativity Certificate if detected at any time later during the course of study will result in expulsion of the candidate and also initiation of criminal proceedings against the candidate as well as the parents or guardian as per law.

3. Age Limit: Candidates should have completed the age of 17 years and should not have completed 25 years at the time of admission or would complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December 2011. Evidence should be produced.

4. Qualification: Candidates should have passed in all subjects in +2 of the Higher Secondary Course examination conducted by the Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary State Board or the Senior Secondary School Examination under CBSE Pattern or equivalent examination with the following group of subjects in one and the same attempt.
(a) Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology; (or)
(b) Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology; (or)
(c) Physics, Chemistry, Biology with any other subject.
Candidates who have passed in vocational system and private candidates are NOT eligible to apply for the courses.

4 (a) Minimum Eligibility Marks:
For OC: Minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in the Science subjects namely Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Botany and Zoology.
For BC / BCM / MBC / DC: Minimum of 40% marks in aggregate in the Science subjects namely Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Botany and Zoology.
For SC / SCA / ST: Minimum of 35% marks in aggregate in the Science subjects namely Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Botany and Zoology.

Application Forms:
Candidates can download the Application form from website: www.tnhealth.org and submit the filled in Application form along with the OMR sheet obtained from the nearby Medical College Enclosed by:
1. Application form
2. Scrutiny form
3. Intimation card
4. OMR sheet
The candidates are also instructed to submit their Application form with enclosures along with Demand Draft for Rs:200/- in favour of The Secretary, Board of Para Medical Education, KIPM&R ,Chennai-32

Filled in application form with all relevant enclosures prescribed may be delivered in person or by Registered post / Courier service / Speed post to The Secretary,
Selection Committee, (Diploma Courses), Directorate of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy, Arignar Anna Govt. Hospital of Indian Medicine Campus, Arumbakkam, Chennai - 600 106.

Last date for submission of Completed applications is 25-10-2011.
