Eligibility for Admission:
* BSc (Hons.) Mathematics and Computer Science : 12th standard or equivalent.
* BSc (Hons.) Mathematics and Physics : 12th standard or equivalent.
* MSc in Mathematics : BSc (Math) / B.Math / B.Stat / BE / BTech.
* MSc in Applications of Mathematics : BS (Math,Physics,Statistics) / B.Math / B.Stat /BE/ BTech.
* MSc in Computer Science : BE / BTech / BSc (C.S.) / BCA or BSc (Math) with a strong background in C.S.
* PhD in Mathematics : BE / BTech / BSc (Math) / MSc (Math).
* PhD in Computer Science : BE / BTech / MSc (C.S.) / MCA
* PhD in Physics : BE / BTech / BSc(Physics) / MS (Physics)
Selection:
For all the programmes, applicants will have to take an entrance examination on Friday, 25 May, 2012. The entrance examination centres for 2012 are as follows: Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Calicut, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Imphal, Kolkata, Madurai, Mumbai, Patna, Pune, Ranchi, Shillong, Srinagar and Trivandrum.
In addition, selection for all PhD programmes, as well as the MSc programmes in Mathematics and Applications of Mathematics, will involve an interview at Chennai.

Candidates may apply online or request a printed application form, either by post or in person. The preferred mode of applying to CMI's programmes is to fill out the online application form.
