The Delhi Institute of Heritage Research & Management is presently conducting two Master Degree Courses of two years duration (4 semesters).
i) Master in Archaeology and Heritage Management (MAHM)
ii) Master in Conservation, Preservation and Heritage Management (MCPHM)

1. Number of Seats
The number of seats in the Master Degree Courses: Master in Archaeology and Heritage Management (MAHM);
Master in Conservation, Preservation and Heritage Management (MCPHM)  is 30 in each course
being offered at Delhi Institute of Heritage Research & Management.
2. Duration of Course
The Master Degree ProgrammeS shall be of 2 years duration each spread over 4 semesters.
3. Eligibility Conditions
    The candidates eligible to apply for the Master Degree Courses should be a  Graduate (3 years degree course) in any subject of Humanities, Commerce or Sciences (those appearing in 3rd year final exam may also apply). The student must be a graduate from an Indian or recognised foreign university or have passed an examination recognised as equivalent to a degree and possess such other qualifications as may be prescribed by the University from time to time.
4. Selection Procedure
In respect of criteria for qualifying CET 2012 separate merit list will be prepared for each category based on the result of Common Entrance Test: CET Code :141 . The admissions would be made strictly on the basis of this merit of the eligible candidates determined by marks obtained in the CET 2012.

 In case where two or more candidates obtain equal marks in CET 2012, the candidate older / oldest in age will rank higher in merit for admission.

6. Physical Fitness
The applicant must be in good mental and physical health and should be free from any physical defect which is likely to interfere with his/her studies including active outdoor duties required for a professional. Accordingly, all the students shall be required to submit a Medical Certificate indicating fitness from a Registered Medical Practitioner as per format given in Appendix 2 see brochure.
7. Relaxation in the requirement of marks for Reserved Category Candidates
Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Widows or Wards of Defence Personnel / Physically Handicapped will be allowed 5% relaxation of marks in the minimum eligibility requirement, irrespective of the fact whether there exists any reservation for any category of such candidates or not
Note: Relaxation of any kind, as mentioned above and elsewhere in this Admission Brochure, will be granted to only those candidates, who are able to produce relevent supporting documents as per this Admission Brochure before the Admission Officer present at the Venue of the Counselling /Admission. Therefore, for seeking these relaxations necessary documents must be obtained in advance by all candidates from the Competent Authority as prescribed.


Sale of Admission Brochure
The price of this Admission Brochure along with Application Form is Rs. 1000/- (One Thousand Rupees Only). The cost of Admission Brochure is non-refundable.
No other fee is required to be submitted along with the Application Form.
(a) The Admission Brochure along with Application Form will be on sale from 20th of June, 2012 on all working days during normal Banking hours from the  Sector - 16C Dwarka Branch of Indian Bank.

(c)  Sale by Post: Admission Brochure along with Application Form (detachable)  can also be obtained through registered/speed post. A request in this regard should be sent to the Joint Registrar (Academic), Administrative Block, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Sector-16C, Dwarka, New Delhi-110075 along with the following :
● An application on plain paper, addressed to the Joint Registrar (Academic) requesting to issue Admission Brochure-XI for -
 i) Master in Archaeology and Heritage Management (MAHM)
     ii)  Master in Conservation, Preservation and Heritage Management (MCPHM)
      The  application should clearly mention the name and the  address of the applicant;
● A Demand Draft of Rs.1100/- (Rupees One Thousand One Hundred only) drawn in favour of Registrar, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, payable at Delhi. The name, address and phone number of the applicant should be clearly mentioned on the back side of the Demand Draft/Pay Order;
● A self-addressed envelope of size not less than 24cms x 30cms.
Notes :
(i) The request must reach the University latest by 2nd July, 2012. The amount once remitted will not be refunded under any circumstances.
(ii) The envelope of the application requesting for the issuance of Admission Brochure-X must be superscribed at the left-top corner as "REQUEST FOR ADMISSION BROCHURE-XI MAHM or MCPHM".
(iii) The University will NOT be responsible for the delay, loss or damage, if any, (during the transit) of the Application/Demand Draft/Pay Order for issuance of Admission Brochure and for the Admission Brochure after its dispatch from the University.


3. Jurisdiction of Courts
Any dispute in regard to any matter referred to herein will be subject to the jurisdiction of Delhi Courts only.



The applicants are advised to retain a photocopy of the duly filled-in Application Form before the same is submitted to the University.



Submission of Application Form
1. The Application Form complete in all respects in the sealed printed envelope given along with Admission Brochure, should be submitted by hand at the University counter or it may be sent by Registered/Speed Post to the Controller of Examinations, Administrative Block, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Sec 16 C, Dwarka, New Delhi-110075 latest by 14th July, 2012 by 5 p.m.
2. After the last date is over, application form sent through Registered/Speed Post or by any other means will not be accepted, irrespective of the fact when the form was despatched/posted.  Therefore, candidates are advised to submit their applications at the earliest, instead of waiting for the last date.
3. Display of Information on the University's Website regarding receipt of Application Forms for the Common Entrance Tests - 2012:
(i) On 16th July, 2012 at 5.00 p.m. the details of application forms received by the Office of the Controller of Examinations upto the last date i.e.14th July, 2012 will be displayed on the University Website (www.ipu.ac.in). The candidates are advised to check their status with the help of Application Form number indicated on the Application Form.
(ii) In  case any candidate, who has submitted the application form either by post or in-person, does not find his/her application form number on the University's Website, then he/she is advised to contact the Office of Controller of Examinations, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, immediately (but not later than  18th July, 2012) alongwith the relevant particulars (photocopy of the duly filled-in CET Application Form and proof of its delivery to the University). In case of any query, candidate may contact on  011-25302287.
4. No document (copies of certificates, mark-sheets etc.) is required to be attached with the Application Form.
5. Write the complete address by giving your name and PIN CODE carefully and legibly. Please note that this address will be used by the University for all the correspondence in future. Therefore, it should be very clearly written with black ball point pen only. The address should be properly filled up in the prescribed boxes and should not overflow. The University will not be responsible for any loss in transit or for incorrect address given by the applicant in the CET Application Form. No request for change of address will be entertained till the admission is finalized.
