Applications are
invited online for Admission lo the folowing courses of UG/PG and Diploma under
Correspondence course and Open University Scheme under Distance Education for
the Acade tnic year 2012-13.
Courses
1. Correspondence Courses
(UG)
BA (Kannada/English
Medium) 8.Com (English Medium only) BBM (English Medium only)
Pass in
Pre-University Examination of Kamataka or any equivalent examination there to (10*2
pattern)
2. Correspondence (PG)
MA: (Kannada. English. Hindi. Tetugu. 'Urdu) 3yrs. 3yrs. 3yrs. 2yrs.
Eligibility:
BA/B.Sc-'B.Com degree
of any recognized University or equivalent degree there to with 55% of marks in
the language concerned under Part-I or 50% of marks in the concerned optional
or who have passed examination as noted below shall be eligible for
registration to Master's degree course along with the above degree.
a) Pass in Kannada
Rathna or Pandit Examination for
M.A. in
Kannada.
b) Pass in Rashtra
Bhasha Vlsharada Examination of Dakshina Bharath Hindi Prachara Sabha or any
other examination considered as equivalent there to for M.A. in Hindi.
MA: History. Economics. Political Science. Sociology
(Kannada/English Medium)
B A. degree of any
recognized University or equivalent degree there to with 40% of marks in the
aggregate of the optional subjects and atloast 50% of marks in the concerned
optional or major subjects of the course.
MA Philosophy* (English Medium only) 2 yrs.
Any Bachelor Degree
of any recognized University or equivalent degree there to with Philosophy.
Logic. Ethics. Religion. Theology, Aesthetics. Yoga or Sanskrit as one of the
Optional Subjects and atleast 50% of marks in the concerned optional subject or
those with a degree in Arts or Science minimum 50% of marks aggregate
M.Com (English Modiur- only) 2Yrs
B Com Degree examination
of any recognized University or equivalent degree there to securing not less
than 50% of marks in the aggregate in Commerce subjects in all the examinations
of the B.Com degree
M. Sc. (Mathematics) (English Medium only) 2Yrs.
B.Sc. Degree of any
recognized University or equivalent degree there to securing not less than 40%
of marks in the aggregate In Optional subjects and 50% of marks in the
Mathematics. (Candidates who have passed Mathemalics as Minor or Subsidiary
subjects are not eligible).
3. External Courses
MA in Sansknt 2Yrs.
B A/B.Sc/B.Com degree
of any recognized University or equivalent degree there to with 55% of marks in
language concerned under Part-I or those who have passed B A.'B.Sc /B.Com
degree examination and who have passed Sahitya examination shall be eligible for
Registration to Master's Degree in Sanskrit
M A. in French 2Yrs
BA French or
BA/B.Sc/B.Com. with French as Second language of any recognized University and
with a minimum of 55% of aggregate marks or BA. / B.Sc./ B.Com. of Bangalore
University or any other University recognized as equivalent there to with
Diploma of Superior of the Alliance franchise in any other recognized institution
4. Open University Courses
B A (Kannada/English)
B.Com. (English Medium only)
No Educational
Qualification is prescribed Those who have completed 18 years of age as on 1st
November 2012.
5.Post Graduate Diploma Courses
i) Human Resource Management
ii) Business Administration iii) Marketing Management iv) Rural Management
*P.G. Diploma in
Translation in Hindi 1Yr.
For all these courses
any Degree of recognized University or equivalent degree (here to Securing not
less than 40% of Marks in aggregate including languages. Degree of recognised
University with 50% of Marks.
Any degree of
recognised University with Hindi as subject al the degree level or any degree
with pass in Rashtra Basha Visharadha or any other equivalent examinations
recognised there to.
6. Diploma Courses (English Medium only) 1.
'Applied Nutrition & Dietetics
Pass in PUC or
equivalent examination with Home Science/Chemistry as Optional Subject.
7. Certificate Courses
(One Year Course) I) 'Kannada ii) 'Nutrition
& Dietetics
(English Medium only;.

Pass in SSLC or
Equivalent examination

Candidates
have to remit Rs.350/- towards processing fee in any one of the "BANGALORE
ONE / KARNATAKA-ONE CENTRES" (list of Bangalore one/Kamataka One Centers
are given in website). The candidates should enter the receipt No. of BANGALORE-ONE/KARNATAKA-ONE
in the appropriate Column of the application form with their affixed photograph
while submitting the application Online incomplete applications are liable to
be rejected. The eligible candidates will be informed through e-mail / S.M.S.
Candidates are required to be present in person along with their original
documents in support of their qualifications etc.. as required by the
Directorate.
The
Candidates who are seeking admission in DCC & DE to II & III Year of UG
Degree and Final year PG degree courses should also submit their applications
through on-line after remitting Rs.3507- (Processing fee) In
Bangalore-One/Karnataka-One Centers, as stated above.
• Last date for submission of the application: 31-01-2013
• Last date with a penal fee of Rs.100/- : 15-02-2013
• All the Admission process will be completed by : 28-02-2013
*Courses
are offered subject to the condition that a minimum of 20 candidates have to
get admission. Otherwise the said course will not be offered and the amount
paid towards Admission / Registration will be refunded after deducting the
processing fee of Rs.350/- after the last date fixed for the Admission /
Registration.
