Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad
has invited applications for admissions to the following Super Speciality
courses of Academic Year 2013-14 leading to D.M. and M.Ch degrees. Admission
will be based on the Entrance Exam, NIMS SET-SS-2013 scheduled to be conducted
on 16th June 2013.

(Cardiology),DM (Neurology),DM (Nephrology),DM (Clinical Pharmacology),
DM (Medical Oncology),DM (Rheumatology),M.Ch. (Urology),M.Ch. (Cardiothoracic
Surgery),M.Ch. (Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery), M.Ch. (Neurosurgery)
Eligibility:
a) Candidates who have passed (MD/MS/DNB)
examination from Medical Colleges recognized by MCI or its statutory equivalent
are eligible. Candidates who will be completing training period on or before
30/06/2013 are also eligible to apply, provided the candidates submit
1. a certificate issued by the Principal / Dean of
college regarding the likely date of completion of the course and acquiring the
eligible qualification and 2. a declaration by the candidate, failing which
their applications will be rejected.
b) No condonation of training period shall be
accepted unless approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI) along with
submission of necessary proof. The condonation of training period shall be
restricted to the period ending on 30-06-2013 and not beyond. The condonation
certificate must be submitted along with the application form.
c) The candidates who have already registered for
any regular course at NIMS and would like to apply for admission to another
course shall resign from such Training / course in the Institute duly
fulfilling the conditions of the bond and failure to do so may render their
application liable for rejection.

Candidate must submit both soft and hard copies of the Application form
and can apply for only one subject. A
Demand Draft for Rs.2,000/- (Rupees two thousand only) drawn in favour of the
Director, Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences and dated before 30-04-2013 or
NIMS cash receipt will have to be submitted simultaneously along with the
filled-in application.
The Application form duly filled in and with all
necessary documents and the DD/NIMS cash receipt shall be submitted in person
or sent by post to the Associate Dean, Aptitude Testing, 1st floor, Millenium
Block, Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences, Punjagutta, Hyderabad -500 082,
Andhra Pradesh on or before 5.00 PM on 30-04-2013.
