Scholarship
for the students with disabilities
The National Handicapped Finance and Development
Corporation (NHFDC) is implementing two schemes of scholarship for the students
with disabilities.
Under these schemes, 2000 new scholarships are
provided every year to pursuing higher/professional/technical courses. For both
the schemes, students may apply online at NHFDC website, www.nhfdc.nic.in
1. Scholarship scheme (Trust Fund): Under this
scheme, 1500 scholarships are provided to eligible differently- abled students
for Degree and Post Graduate level professional courses from recognized
institutions. The students may apply online www.nhfdc.nic.in any time in
academic year and submit hard copy of the application duly recommended by head
of the institution along with attested copy of documents. Scholarship range up
to 1.5 lac depending on course fee.
2 Scholarship Scheme (National Fund) : Under the
scheme 500 scholarships are provided in a year for professional students. The
students may apply online www.nhfdc.nic.in
and submit hard copy of the application
duly recommended by head of the institution along with attested copies of
requite documents on or before 31st August 2013.
