IES/ISS Examination 2014

The combined competitive examination for recruitment to Junior Time Scale of Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service Examination will be held by the Union Public Service Commission commencing from May 24, 2014.

The examination will be held at the following centres:

Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Allahabad, Jammu, Bangalore, Kolkata, Bhopal, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Chennai, Patna, Cuttack, Shillong, Delhi, Shimla, Dispur, Thiruvananthapuram, Hyderabad

The Services to which recruitment is to be made on the results of this examination and the approximate number of vacancies in Junior Time scale of the Services are:

(i) Indian Economic Service -15

(ii) Indian Statistical Service - 23

Eligibility:

Candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfil all eligibility conditions for admission to the Examination. Their admission at all the stages of the examination will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions.

How to Apply:

Candidates are required to apply online only by using the website www.upsconline.nic.in

The eligible candidates shall be issued an e-Admission Certificate three weeks before the commencement of the examination. The e-Admission Certificate will be made available in the UPSC website [www.upsc.gov.in] for downloading by candidates. No Admission Certificate will be sent by post. All the applicants are required to provide valid and active email ID while filling up Online Application Form as the Commission may use electronic mode for contacting them.

Last Date For Submission Of Applications:

The Online Applications can be filled upto 10th March, 2014 till 11.59 pm, after which the link will be disabled.
