Uttarakhand State Engineering Entrance Examination (UKSEE)
Uttarakhand Technical University will be conducting
Uttarakhand State Engineering Entrance Examination (UKSEE) 2014 on 27th &
28th May 2014 for admission to following Engineering, Pharmacy and Hotel
Management and Computer Application courses of the University for the Academic
Year 2014-15.
B. Pharm., Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHMCT)
MCA Courses 1st year 2013
B.Tech. Lateral Entry/B. Pharm. Lateral Entry,
MCA 2nd year
QUALIFICATIONS
AND ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
MCA : Recognized Bachelors Degree of minimum 3 year
duration with mathematics as MCA lateral entrycompulsory subject at 10+2 level.
Obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category)
at the qualifying examination.
B.Pharm.: Passed 10+2 examination with Physics
& Chemistry as compulsory subject along with one of the Subject from
Biology/Mathematics/Biotechnology. Technical Vocational subject. Obtained at
least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in
the above subject taken together.
BHMCT : Passed 10+2 examination.Obtained at least
50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying
examination. With english as one of the subject.
B. Tech. (Lateral Entry-only for Uttarakhand
Domicile & Academic Domicile*) in case the seats lying vacant the admission
will be granted to candidates of others states.
A. Passed Diploma examination from an AICTE
approved institution; with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates
belonging to reserved category) in appropriate branch of Engineering /
Technology.
B. Passed B. Sc Degree from a recognized University
as defined by UGC, with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging
to reserved category) and passed XII standard with mathematics as a subject.
C. Provided that in case of students belonging to
B. Sc. Stream, shall clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics / Engineering
Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the first year engineering program along
with the second year subjects.
D. Provided further that, the students belonging to
B. Sc. Stream shall be considered only after filling the supernumerary seats in
this category with students belonging to the Diploma stream.
B. Pharm. (Lateral Entry-only for Uttarakhand
Domicile & Academic Domicile*)
Passed Diploma examination in Pharmacy from an
AICTE approved institution, with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates
belonging to reserved category).
: Those appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination may also appear in entrance examination for consideration of
Provisional Admission.
DOMICILE
REQUIREMENTS
Those candidates who have passed/are appearing in
the qualifying examination from/in other states, but have domicile of
Uttarakhand are eligible to apply for admission under Uttarakhand quota.
Candidates belonging to UAGE, UASC/UAST/UABC, UAGD,
GDSC/GDST/GDBC, OSGE, OSSC/OSST categories will be eligible for admission as
candidates belonging to Uttarakhand.
Application
Forms:
1. The cost of Brochure/Application form Inclusive
of Examination Fee is Rs. 1000/- for General/ OBC Candidates and Rs 500.00 for
SC/ST candidates with Rs. 40/- additional as handling charges.
2. The Information Brochure containing Application
form are available for Sale till May 15, 2013 by paying Rs. 1000/- for
General/OBC candidates and Rs. 500/- for SC/ST candidates with Rs. 40/-
additional as handling charges in cash from.
(a) Post Offices of Dehradun GPO, Roorkee HO,
Kotdwar HO, Haldwani HO, Rudrapur, Ramnagar, Mussoorie, Haridwar, Rishikesh
MDG, Rudraprayag, Pauri, Srinagar, Tehri, Almora, Ranikhet, Bageshwar,
Pithoragarh, Vikasnagar, Chakrata, Khatima and outside of Uttarakhand from Post
Offices of New Delhi GPO.
(b) Application Forms will be available for sale
from the office of Registrar Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun
(Uttarakhand) & from affiliated Institutes of Uttarakhand Technical
University

Centres: At Nine places. In Uttarakhand - Dwarahat, Dehradun, Haldwani,
Srinagar, Pithoragarh, Roorkee, New Tehri, Gopeshwer and New Delhi (NCR)
