Applications are invited by Vidyasagar University,
Midnapore for admission to the following Post Graduate and other courses for
the academic year 2014-15.
1. Two‐year M.A. Courses in (i). Bengali, (ii)
Economics, (iii) English, (iv) Hindi, (v) History, (vi) Philosophy, (vii)
Political Science, (viii) Sanskrit, (ix) Santali, (x) Sociology
Eligibility: Hons in the relevant subject in 2013 /
2014.
2. BLISc & MLISc Course
i) For 1 year BLISc Course, Honours in any subject
in 2013‐2014 or M.A /M.Sc/ M.Com in
2013/2014 in any subject.
ii) For 1 year MLISc Course, BLISc in 2013/2014.
3 . i) Two-year M.Com. Course
ii) Two-year M.B.A. Course( AICTE approved )
Eligibility:
For SL.NO.(i), Honours in Commerce / Accountancy in
2013/2014.
For SL.NO.(ii), Graduate in Science / Arts /
Commerce / Medical / Engineering / Law (5-year) under 10+2+3 stream or
equivalent with 45% marks in Hons. or in aggregate ( 40% marks for SC / ST ).
Selection will be made through Entrance Test Like
JEMAT, MAT, CAT or own test followed by Group Discussion and Personal
Interview.
4. Two-year M.Sc. Courses in (i) Anthropology, (ii)
Applied Mathematics, (iii) Bio-medical Laboratory Science and Management,(iv)
Botany, (v) Chemistry, (vi) Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics, (vii) Computer
Science, (viii) Electronics, (ix) Fisheries Science, (x) Geography, (xi) Human
Physiology, (xii) Microbiology, (xiii) Physics, (xiv) Remote Sensing & GIS,
(xv) Zoology, (xvi) PG Diploma in Quality Control & Assurance in Microbial
Technology

5. For 1 year PG Diploma in Quality Control &
Assurance in Microbial Technology M.Sc

6. One year P.G. Diploma Course in Applied Computer
Science
Eligibility: Graduate ( Pass/ Hons. ) in any
subject . Science Graduates are preferred
7. Diploma Course in Advanced Hardware &
Networking Administration ( 6 months ) .
Eligibility: At least H.S. passed.
8. Certificate Course in Basic & Advance Java (
3 months )
Eligibility : At least H.S. passed
9. One year Diploma Course in Office Automation and
Internet Technologies
Eligibility : P.G. / UG Regular /Ex-students of
this University in any discipline
Procedure
for Application:
(a) On‐line
Version : Application Form can be submitted through online version
available at website (http://onlineadmission.vidyasagar.ac.in).
After successful submission of the form , applicant should send printed version
of the application form, self attested photocopy of all
testimonials and copy of Bank Challan (University
copy) of Rs.100/‐ to the Office of the Secretary, Faculty Councils for PG
Studies on or before the last date of submission by post, courier or by hand.
The amount of Rs.100/‐ may be deposited in any branch of UCO Bank through
Challan (available in Vidyasagar university website)
(b) Off-line
Version : Application Form is available at http://onlineadmission.vidyasagar.ac.in
Filled in off-line version of the application form
should be submitted to the Office of the Secretary, Faculty Councils for PG
Studies, Vidyasagar University along with the self attested photocopy of all
testimonials and copy of Bank Challan (University copy) of Rs.100/- on or
before the last date of submission by hand only.
The amount of Rs.100/- may be deposited in any
branch of UCO Bank through Challan (available in Vidyasagar university website)
