PG/Research Admission Notice 2015

Indian School of Mines (ISM), Dhanbad has invited applications for admission to M.Sc./M.Sc.Tech/M.Phil/M.Tech. and Ph.D Programmes of Academic Year 2015-16.

APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION:

 The application form has to be submitted online, which is available on the ISM website  www.ismdhanbad.ac.in/admissions  

 The application fee for both M. Tech and M. Phil programmes is Rs. 1500/- for GN/OBC candidates and Rs.750/- for SC/ST/PD candidates.

 The application fee is to be paid through online bank challan of SBI.

After submission of the online application form, the candidate should take two print-outs of the application forms.

1. One printed copy should be kept by the candidate for his/her record. The candidate has to produce this application form at the time of counselling/ admission.

2. The other printed copy of the application form must reach to Dy. Registrar (Exam & Acad), Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad-826004.3. The application form should accompany the followings:

i. Two recent passport size photographs stapled with the application form

ii. The receipt of online transaction or bank challan for payment of application fee

iii. Self-attested photocopies of the following documents are to be attached with the application form:

a) Certificate verifying Date of Birth

b) 10 + 2 certificate (if applicable)

c) Certificate of qualifying degree

d) Gate Score card (if applicable)

e) Caste certificate – only for SC/ ST/OBC (Non-creamy) candidates

f) Relevant certificate by the candidates who seek reservation in any sub-category (PC / PD / JK / PS)

g) Certificate for degree equivalence with any of the mentioned qualifying degrees - only for that candidate whose qualifying degree does not match with, but equivalent to, any of the degrees mentioned in the eligibility criteria

The completed application with fee receipt should reach on or before last date specified at the following address: DY. REGISTRAR (Exam & Acad), INDIAN SCHOOL OF MINES, DHANBAD-826004, JHARKHAND.

The All India Entrance Examination conducted by ISM will be held on 10th May 2015 (Sunday) at different centres viz. Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Dhanbad, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata, Lucknow, New Delhi, Pune and Varanasi.

IMPORTANT DATES:

Opening date & time for applications of 2 Yr M.Sc. /3 Yr M.Sc. Tech/1 Yr M.Phil. programmes:     February 13th, 2015 (Friday) 11.00 A.M.

Opening date & time for applications of M. Tech and Ph.D. programmes.              February 24th, 2015 (Tuesday) 11.00 A.M.

Last date for filling of applications of 2 Yr M.Sc. /3 Yr M.Sc. Tech/1 Yr M.Phil./M. Tech and Ph.D. programmes. April 6th, 2015 (Monday) 12.00 Midnight.
