BTS/ B.Sc Admission Notice 2015
Applications are invited for admission to the
following undergraduate programmes, which do not come under the purview of CAP,
offered in the affiliated colleges for the academic year 2015-2016.
BTS/B.Sc Biotechnology/ Microbiology/
Bio-informatics
Eligibility:
BTS Degree Programme: Admission to the programme shall be open only
to candidates who have passed Plus two or equivalent examination or an
examination accepted by this University as equivalent thereto.60% weightage
will be given for marks in plus two or equivalent examination, 20% for Aptitude
test and 20% for group discussion and interview. Music course
B.Sc. Biotechnology and B.Sc Microbiology:
Candidates with a pass in Higher Secondary/VHSC or any examination recognized
by the Mahatma Gandhi University, as equivalent thereto, with any biological
sciences as one of the optional subjects, are eligible to apply.
B.Sc. Bioinformatics: Candidates seeking admission
to the B.Sc Bioinformatics course should
have passed the Higher Secondary/Technical Higher Secondary/Vocational Higher
Secondary examinations of Govt. of Kerala or CBSE or ISCE or Pre-Degree
examinations of the M.G.University or
any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Mahatma
Gandhi University, with at least one of the following as an individual subject
of study: (i) Physics
(ii) Chemistry (iii)
Biology (iv) Mathematics
(v) Computer Science (vi)
Bio-informatics (viii) Information Practices (viii)
