ADMISSION PROCESS

Admission to MBA course is based on the performance in Open MAT/ MAT conducted by IGNOU/AIMA, Group Discussion (GD), Interview and Academic Qualifications. Selection to MCA is based on Academic Qualifications, GD & Interview and admission to B. Com is based on the marks for qualifying examinations. Admission to Biosciences is based on Academic Qualifications and Entrance Examination.

Application forms can be obtained from the office on payment of Rs. 600/-(MBA), Rs 400/- (MCA) and Rs 300/- (Biosciences) or can be downloaded from the net at www.macollege.in and forwarded to the office along with a DD of requisite value drawn in favour of Principal, Mar Athanasius College, Kothamangalam payable at Kothamangalam and copies of the relevant documents to the following address on or before 31st May 2012. A pass in Higher Secondary with Biology, Physics & Chemistry 50 % Marks in aggregate (40% for SC / ST / OBC / MBC candidates) and English as a subject.
Age Limit: 17 years, minimum as on 3112-20U

Eligibility for MSc (Medical Microbiology)
BSc Zoology / Bio-chemistry / Chemistry / Microbiology / Biotechnology / Medical Lab Technology with 55% minimum marks (50% For SC / ST)

Eligibility for MSc (Medical Biochemistry)
BSc Bio-chemistry / Chemistry / Microbiology / Biotechnology / Medical Lab Technology with 55% minimum marks (50% for SC / ST)
Age Limit: No age limit is prescribed.

Candidate desirous of appearing for the Common Entrance Test should fill their application in the prescribed format and send directly by post. Cost of Application in Person or by Cash Rs. 400 for BSc (MLT) and Rs. 800 for MSc (Medical Microbiology) & MSc (Medical Bio-chemistry). Cost of Application by Post/ Application fee for Downloaded Application for above is Rs. 450 by DD and Rs.850 by DD.

Demand Draft should be drawn in favour at Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth University, payable at Pondicherry. Separate Applications have to be sent for MSc (Medical Microbiology) & MSc (Medical Bio-chemistry) if the candidate wishes to be considered for both.
