Coal India Limited (A Maharatna Company) invites application for engagement of full time Advisor (Land Revenue & Estate) from retired Land acquisition officers with background of being a Revenue Officer with Govt, of West Bengal or Retired BL&RO of Govt, of West Bengal in Gr-'C on contract basis for a period of 06 months. The candidate who had worked at Hooghly district, West Bengal, at any time of his entire career, will have an added advantage.

Nature of work The role of Advisor, will be for expediting mutation of DCC land acquired through 09 nos. of notification under West Bengal Land Re quisition & Acquisition Act, 1948, and will broadly include as under: 

a) The incumbent will supervise the job of Mutation/ updating of RoR of the acquired land of DCC in favor of the project. 

b) He will be responsible for pursuing with State Government of West Bengal regarding expediting mutation of land of DCC acquired in 9 nos. of notifications.   

c) He shall liaison with Government of West Bengal for arranging necessary documents for the said job. 

d) He shall also be responsible for any other jobs that are assigned to him/her as requirement of DCC and Coal India Ltd.

Management Trainees in Mechanical, Electrical, Geology and Mining streams based on GATE 2015

Coal India Limited, a Schedule-A Maharatna Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Coal, Government of India is recruiting Management Trainees in Mechanical, Electrical, Geology and Mining streams based on GATE 2015.  Those interested in joining Coal India Limited as Management Trainees in 2015-16 are required to appear for GATE 2015 for the appropriate paper of GATE 2015, which are Mechanical (ME), Electrical (EE), Geology (GG) and Mining (MN). Online application for GATE 2015 is to be submitted through the websites http://gate.iitk.ac.in/GATE2015/ , latest by 23.59 hours on 1st October 2014.

For Mechanical stream, applicant should hold B.E/B.Tec/AMIE/BSc. (Eng) in Mechanical Engineering. For Electrical, B.E/B.Tech/AMIE/B.Sc (Eng) in Electrical Engineering, for Geology, M.Sc/M.Tech in Geology and for Mining, B.E/B. Tech/AMIE/B.Sc (Eng) in Mining Engineering is required.  For all streams, the minimum mark requirement for the qualifying course for Unreserved and OBC (Non Creamy Layer) category applicants is 60%. For SC/ST & Persons with Disability (with 40% disability), there is a 5% relaxation in the minimum marks. BE/B.Tec/BSc (Eng)/MSc/MTech must be from recognised Universities/Institutions recognised by appropriate statutory authority in India and should be a regular/full time course.

Shortlisting of applicants’ fort interview will be based on marks and score of GATE 2015. Those interested in Coal India positions have to apply online at CIL recruitment at www.coalindia.in  after obtaining the GATE 2015 registration number.  CIL registration portal is expected to be active by the last week of December 2014 and the registration process is likely to be closed 30 days from the date of opening of the portal.
