Distance Post Graduate Certificate in the Teaching of English (PGCTE) Admission Notice 2015

School of Distance Education, The English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad 500 007 has invited applications for admission to Post Graduate Certificate in the Teaching of English (PGCTE) course of 2015-16.

Eligibility:

i. An M. A. in English or in an allied subject (Linguistics, Education, Mass Communication or Psychology).

OR

ii. An M.A. (in any discipline) with at least a second class along with 5 years of experience of teaching "Methods of Teaching English" at the M. Ed/B. Ed. level

Procedure for application:

1.For an application form, you can make a request to The Dean, School of Distance Education, The English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad 500 007 enclosing a crossed D.D. for Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ST) drawn in favour of the Registrar, EFL University, Hyderabad 500 605. Application forms will be sold till 16 March 2015. Filled-in application forms will be accepted till 16 March 2015.

2. If you are using an internet application form, please enclose with your application form a demand draft for an amount of Rs.500/-(Rs.250/- for SC/ST) towards the cost of the application form and another demand draft for the total programme fee for PGCTE. That is, an Indian citizen living in India should send two crossed demand drafts: one for Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ST) and one for Rs.5700/- (Rs.3450/- for SC/ST) along with the filled-in Internet application form to The Dean, School of Distance Education, The English and Foreign Languages University (Osmania University Campus), Hyderabad 500 007. The demand drafts should be drawn in favour of The Registrar, EFL University, Hyderabad 500007.

3. If you are using a printed application form that you have bought from the University you have to pay only the total programme fee for PGCTE. That is, an Indian citizen living in India should send only one crossed demand draft for Rs.5700/- (Rs.3450/- for SC/ST) along with the filled-in printed application form to The Dean, School of Distance Education, The English and Foreign Languages University (Osmania University Campus), Hyderabad 500 007. The demand draft should be drawn in favour of The Registrar, EFL University, Hyderabad 500 007.

Applications have been invited by EFL University, Hyderabad for admission to residential MA Course of Academic Year 2011.

Eligibility:
All graduates who have studied English as a subject in the degree course are eligible.

Application Forms:
Application forms can be obtained on request from the office of the Dean, School of Distance Education, The English and Foreign Languages University (Osmania University Campus), Hyderabad-500 605. Request should be enclosed by a crossed DD for Rs.520/- (Rs.260/- for SC / ST) drawn in favour of the Registrar, EFL University, Hyderabad 500605.

The application forms can also be downloaded from the EFL University website www.efluniversity.ac.in

For internet application form, a demand draft for an amount of Rs.520/-(Rs.260/- for SC / ST) towards the cost of the application form and another demand draft for the other fees should be enclosed. That is, an Indian citizen living in India should send two crossed demand drafts one for Rs.520/- (Rs.260/- for SC / ST) and one for Rs.5000/- (Rs.3100/- for SC / ST) along with a filled in Internet application form and mail to ‘The Dean, School of Distance Education, The English and Foreign Languages University (Osmania University Campus), Hyderabad - 500 605’.
