Applications have been invited by Indian Institute of Management Ranchi (IIM-Ranchi) for admission to Fellow Programme in Management (FPM), the doctoral programmes in the following areas of specializations:

Economics

Finance & Accounting

General Management including Neuro management

Human Resource Management

Information Systems & Business Analytics

Marketing

Operations Management & Decision Science

Organizational Behavior

Strategic Management

Eligibility:

The candidates for the programme must have one of the following qualifications obtained from any of the universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of parliament or declared to be deemed as a university under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India, or an equivalent qualification from an institution approved by AICTE.

A candidate for the FPM at IIM Ranchi should have:

A Master’s degree or its equivalent in any discipline with minimum 60% aggregate marks. Candidates who have MA / MSc / MPhil  in Mathematics, Statistics, Psychology, Neuro-Psychology, Sociology, Linguistics, engineering etc. can also apply OR

A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology / Architecture with 60% marks or equivalent grade point average OR

Any professional qualifications such as CA, ICWA and CS with a minimum 55% aggregate marks.

Note: Candidates in their final year of the respective educational programme as mentioned above can also apply. However, their admission to the programme will be provisional subject to their successful completion of all requirements for obtaining the relevant degree before 30 June 2015.

Selection:

All candidates applying to the FPM except Alumni of the Post Graduate Programs from all IIMs, graduated in the period of 4 years preceding 30 June 2015, are required to take the Common Admission Test (CAT) or a standard test in lieu of CAT such as GMAT / GATE / UGC or CSIR-JRF. For NRIs and Foreign students this standard test is the Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT).

Candidates will be shortlisted and called for an interview for final selection on the basis of their performance in CAT or the standard test in lieu of CAT, academic background, and experience.

PGPs from IIMs graduated in the period of 4 years preceding 30 June 2015 may be considered for direct admission into the second year of the FPM-based on their academic performance during their PGP.

The application fee for SC/ST applicants is Rs. 500/-. For others, the application fee is Rs. 1000/-. The last date for receiving the completed application form is February 20, 2015.

FPM Admission Notice 2015

Rajiv Gandhi Indian Institute of Management,  Shillong has invited applications for admission to Fellow Programme in Management in the following areas: Economics, Marketing, Finance, Information Systems and Operations Management and HR.

Eligibility:

The candidates for the programme must have one of the following qualifications obtained from any of the universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of parliament or declared to be deemed as a university under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India, or an equivalent qualification from an institution approved by AICTE.

A Masters' degree or its equivalent in any discipline with minimum 55% aggregate marks

A Bachelors' Degree in Engineering with 60% marks or equivalent grade point average

Any professional qualifications such as CA, ICWA and CS with a minimum 55% aggregate marks.

In addition, all the candidates must have secured a minimum of 55 % marks in all their public examinations starting with the secondary level. Work experience in industry or academics, though not mandatory, will be given due credit in the selection process.

Age Limit:

Candidates must not be more than 40 years of age as on 1st March, 2015.

Selection Process:

Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria stated above and who cleared the Common Admission Test (CAT) held by the IIMs in either 2013 or 2014.

Alternatively, those who have valid GATE, GRE, GMAT and JRF (UGC/CSIR) examinations till 15th February 2015 can also apply in the relevant area of specialization.

Candidates who have already obtained a two-year PGDM from any of the IIMs with a minimum CGPA of 6.0 on a 10 point scale are exempted from this requirement, and can apply directly through the prescribed Application Form. Such applicants are also eligible to get a waiver of the first year course work and can directly join the second year of the programme.

Short-listed candidates on the basis of their academic record and performance in the competitive examinations mentioned above will be called to Shillong for a personal interview for final selection in April 2015 and the successful candidates will receive offers by June 2015.

Admission to the programme is open to overseas candidates including NRIs and foreign nationals. Their admission will be based on GMAT/GRE scores which are valid till 15th February 2015.

Candidates, who use their scores of other examinations such as GATE, GRE, GMAT, and JRF of UGC/CSIR are required to download the IIMS FPM Application Form by clicking on the link provided below.

A candidate is eligible to submit applications to a maximum of two areas. The process of filing application is as follows:

The candidates are requested to be careful while filling in the form and to check the same before Submitting it. IN CASE ANY CANDIDATE SUBMITS THE FORM MORE THAN ONCE, THE FIRST SUCH SUBMISSION WILL ONLY BE CONSIDERED.

The candidates should take a print of the online form before submitting the same. If the candidate is applying for two areas, two copies must be printed. The printed copy (ies) of the online application form, one for each area, with a recent photograph pasted and with all supporting documents (including self-attested copies of mark sheet and certificates of all public examinations starting from 10th, experience certificate, relevant score card, age proof, etc.) attached separately with each form may be sent together in one envelop. Completed application forms along with a draft of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- for SC/ST candidates) drawn in favor of RGIIM, Shillong payable at Shillong should be sent to the following address.
