Prospectus & Application Form:

Application form and prospectus can be obtained on payment of Rs.200/- in cash during all working days between 11.00 am to 2.00 pm. Candidates can also download the form from the website : http://www.fmuniversity.nic.in/pdf/Application_Form_2013.pdf  and send the filled in application form along with two demand drafts of Rs.200/- towards fee for application form (for downloaded forms only)drawn in favour of Comptroller of Finance, F.M. University, payable at Balasore and Rs.300/- towards fees for Entrance Examination drawn in favour of the Head of the concerned department or course coordinator of concerned SFC Programme payable at any nationalized bank at Balasore

The last date for issue and submission of application:

Completed in all respect along with all necessary documents, Photographs and demand drafts should be sent/submitted to the concerned HOD / Course Coordinator, as the case may be, on dt. 10.07.2014 by 4.00 pm for all regular courses and Self Financing Courses (MA in Social Science, Master in Social Work, MSc Chemistry, MA Odia, MA English, MCom, MSc Physics, MA PMIR) and on dt. 27.09.2014 by 4.00 pm (For MPhil and MTech Programmes under Self Financing mode).

The Fakir Mohan University, Vyasa Vihar, Balasore was established by the Government of Orissa, under Section 32 of the Orissa Universities Act, 1989 (Act 5 of 1989) and it was notified vide the Government's Notification No. 973 dated 3rd July, 1999. The University has also been duly recognized by the UGC under section 2(f) of the UGC Act by the Notification No. F-9-1 / 2000 (CPP-I), dated 11th February 2000 as well as under section 12(B), vide UGC letter No. F.9-1 /2000 (CPP-I) dated 23rd December, 2005. It has also been accredited by the Association of Indian Universities, vide their letter No. Meet: SC: 261:2K/108693, dated 22nd August, 2000. The University is functioning from its present campus at Vyasa Vihar. New campus at Nuapadhi has already started functioning.   All the P.G. Departments of the University are computer based. Automation of the office and the library is going to be completed soon.

One can also download the same from the website www.fmuniversity.nic.in and submit the downloaded form completed in all respects along with an additional DD of 300 drawn in favour of ‘Comptroller of Finance, Fakir Mohan University’ towards the cost of application form and prospectus.

Pre-PhD entrance test (ULET Exam)

Fakir Mohan University, Balasore has invited applications in prescribed Proforma from Post-Graduate candidates with at least 55% of marks in the disciplines of Arts, Science, Commerce, Management, Law, Physical Education and other allied / interdisciplinary subjects to appear for Pre-PhD entrance test (ULET Exam) for the Session 2011-12.

Candidates having a valid NET/GATE certificate in the concerned / allied subject, holding MPhil Degree are exempted from the qualifying ULET examination.

The ULET Examination will be held in FM University on the first week of April, 2012 for the following subjects & its allied / inter-disciplinary subjects:
*Applied Physics & Ballistic, Bio Sciences, Bio-technology, Business Management, Chemistry, Commerce, Computer Science, Economics, English, Environmental Science, History, Information & Communication Technology, Law, Mathematics, Odia, Physics, Physical Education, Political Science, Population Studies, Sociology and Urdu.

Application Forms:
Application form and Information Sheet will be available on payment of Rs.1000/- in cash at the PG Central Office, Fakir Mohan University, Vyasa Vihar (North Campus), Nuapadhi, Balasore-756020 during all working days between 11.00 AM and 2.00 PM.
