Ph.D/PG/PGD Admission Notice 2015
The Indian Law Institute, New Delhi has invited
applications for admission to the following programmes of Academic Year
2015-16.
Ph.D. in Law
LL.M. One Year Programme
LL.M. Two Year Programme
Post Graduate Diploma Programs
Eligibility for the admission:
Ph.D. in Law
An applicant holding LL.M. Degree from a recognized
university with minimum 55% marks is eligible to apply. The application form
complete in all respect along with a brief Research Plan shall be submitted for
admission.
LL.M./ LL.M. (Two Year course)
One Year course LL.B. Degree (with not less than
50% marks) from any University / Institution recognized by Bar Council of India
as eligible for enrolment as an advocate in India.
or
A Law Degree from a foreign country with at least
50% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade. The candidates appearing in the
qualifying examinations are also eligible to apply but their admission will be
subject to production of proof of having acquired minimum prescribed
qualification, at the time of admission. If the result of the qualifying
examination is not declared till the date of admission, his/her admission shall
be provisional.
Such candidate shall give an undertaking that
he/she is taking the provisional admission at his/her risk and that he/she
shall submit the result of qualifying examination on or before 15.09.2015. In
case the candidate fails to submit his/her final result of qualifying
examination to prove his/her eligibility on or before 15.09.2015 for any reason
whatsoever, his/her admission shall be treated as cancelled and the entire fee
forfeited.
P.G. Diploma Courses:
Minimum qualification for admission to the P.G.
Diploma Courses is a Graduate Degree from a recognised University. 5% weightage
will be given to the Law Graduates for admission to all Post Graduate Diploma
Courses.
Candidates who have passed or appeared in the 4th
year examination of LL.B. (five year course) from a recognized
institute/university are also eligible for admission to Post Graduate Diploma
Courses. Five seats each are reserved for these students. The admission will be
made based on the marks obtained in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd year of the University
examinations.
Selection and Application:
The All India Common Admission Test (CAT) for
admission to both LL.M. programmes will be held on Saturday, 13.6.2015 at 3.00
p.m. in the ILI. Prospectus containing details of the programs offered and the
Application Form can be obtained at a price of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees one thousand
only) from the Publication Sales Counter of the Institute on all working days
between 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
Prospectus can also be obtained by Post from the
Institute on payment of Rs.1100/- (Rupees one thousand one hundred only) in the
form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Indian Law Institute payable at New
Delhi alongwith a self-addressed envelope of 24x30cms. size. The Application
Form can also be downloaded from the ILI's website link: http://www.ili.ac.in/admission15.html

The Indian Law Institute, New Delhi has invited applications
for admission to the following online certificate courses having three months
duration and to be commenced on August 20, 2014.
1. Intellectual Property Right and Information Technology in
the Internet Age
2. Cyber Laws
Anyone who is pursuing / has pursued diploma or degree after
10+2 and has access to computer and Internet can apply for the above courses.

with proof of payment of Rs.5000/- 100 US$ (for foreign students) have to be

For all Post Graduate Diploma courses except Labour Law the minimum requirement is Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognised university. For PG Diploma in Labour Law the minimum requirement is a law degree or M.A. in Social Science (IInd Division).
Bulletin of Information/Prospectus containing Application Form (Price Rs. 250/-) can be purchased from the ILI, New Delhi on all working days between 10.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. Bulletin of information can also be obtained by post on payment of Rs. 310/- in the form of demand draft drawn in favour of 'Indian Law Institute' payable at New Delhi along with a self-addressed envelop of 24 X 30 cms. size.
