Recruitment of Faculty Positions on Contract Basis

Institute of Fashion Technology Kerala (IFTK) is a Government of Kerala Institution established under the aegis of Centre for Continuing Education Kerala (CCEK) Thiruvananthapuram. The institute is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to University of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram. IFTK invites applications for contract appointment of faculty members as detailed below.
Faculty on Contract Basis (Fashion /Apparel / Textile / Applied Arts)
Essential Qualifications
(As per AICTE norms)
Bachelor’s Degree (Min. 4 years Duration) or minimum 4 year Diploma in any one of the streams of Technology, Design, Fine Arts, Applied Arts or Bachelor of Engineering with First class or equivalent.

Master’s degree or equivalent Post Graduate Diploma in relevant disciplines with First Class or equivalent in any one of the streams of Design, Fine Arts, Applied Arts, Engineering
Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional design experience in Industry / research organization / Design studios.
Age Limit Not more than 40 years
Terms of Appointment: Three years contract which can be extended further
Number of Vacancies: ONE [Variable – will be determined based on the vacancies at the time of Recruitment]
Contract Pay As per norms of IFTK / CCEK
The application, in the prescribed form, duly filled-in, with copies of the certificates in proof of age, qualification and experience accompanied by a Demand Draft of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only) drawn in favour of ‘Principal, Institute of Fashion Technology Kerala, payable at Kundara complete in all aspects, should reach the Principal, Institute of Fashion Technology Kerala (IFTK), Vellimon West PO, Kollam, Kerala – 691511 by 03rd September 2021, 05.00 PM. [Candidates are advised to send the applications only by India Post – Speed Post or Registered Post]. Applications received after last date specified will be rejected. Applications without the prescribed fee will also be rejected. Please note that the candidates fulfilling the required qualifications with the specialization mentioned above only are requested to apply. The applications of those candidates who don’t fulfil the requirements as mentioned above will be rejected and will not be considered for the recruitment process.
