75th short term certificate course in “Servicing & Repair of Records”



Duration : 7 May 2012 to 15 June 2012

Objective : To Train the Candidates in Arrangement, Supply Restoration and Up-keep of Records

Eligibility : High School and knowledge of Hindi and English

Age : Below 30 years for private candidates Below 50 years for sponsored candidates
(Relaxation in age for the reserved categories is applicable as per Government norms.)

Reservation : Seats are reserved for SC /ST /OBC / disabled private applicants as per Government norms

Registration Fee : Application along with attested copies of educational qualification and Rs.100/- ( Rupees one hundred) only through crossed Indian Postal Orders/Bank Draft in favour of Junior Administrative Officer, National Archives of India, Janpath, New Delhi-110001, be sent to The Director General of Archives, National Archives of India, Janpath, New Delhi-110001. Sponsored candidates should apply through proper channel.

Course Fee : Rs.300/- (Rupees three hundred) only, non- refundable, to be paid at the time of admission.

Last date of receipt: 13 April 2012 of application

Boarding & Lodging: The School has no Boarding& Lodging facilities.

Short Term Course in Archives Management February 2012

Applications have been invited by National Archives of India (School of Archival Studies), Janpath, New Delhi-11001 for admission to short term course in Archives Management commencing in February 2012. The course is planned to make the trainees aware of acquisition, arrangement, upkeep and retrieval of records.

Eligibility: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university and should be below 30 years in age for private candidate, no age limit for sponsored candidate.

Duration: 6 weeks (session: February - March)

Registration Fee: Rs. 25/- (Rupees twenty five) for Indian trainee and U.S.$ 25.00 (twenty five U.S. dollars) for foreign trainees.

Course Fee: Rs.300/- for Indian trainee and U.S.$300.00 for foreign trainee.

Selection Procedure: Entirely on the basis of merit (Marks basis) as per the above mentioned eligibility requirement.
