Eligibility
The candidates must have:

1. Minimum 60% in aggregate (55% for SC/ST) in Class 10, Class 12. (Copies of passing certificates and Mark-sheets to be attached with the Application Receipt)

2. Bachelor’s degree in any branch of Engineering / Technology (4 years duration course after 10+2) with 65% marks or C.P.I. of 7.0. Mathematics must be one of the subjects in 10+2. Bachelors Degree must have AICTE recognition. (Photocopy of degree or provisional degree and Mark-sheets of all semesters/years to be attached with the Application Receipt)

3. Qualification either in CAT 2011, or GMAT (After June 2011) (Copy of Admit Card to be attached along with the Application Receipt)

4. Applicants fulfilling the above criteria will be shortlisted based on merit for selection process which will comprise of Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

5. The meritorious academic performance of the candidate will get due weightage in final selection process. Not all those satisfying the minimum requirement are likely to be shortlisted.

Central Teacher Eligibility Test - 2012 on 29-01-2012


Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi will be conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test - 2012 on 29-01-2012 at various centers across the country.


One of the essential qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in any of the schools referred to in clause (n) of Section 2 of the RTE Act is that he / she should pass the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) which will be conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE.

1. The CTET shall apply to schools of the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Tibetan Schools, etc.) and schools under the administrative control of UT of Chandigarh and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
2. CTET may also apply to the unaided private schools, who may exercise the option of considering the CTET.
3. Schools owned and managed by the State government / local bodies and aided schools shall consider the TET conducted by the State Government. However, a State Government can also consider the CTET if it decides not to conduct the State TET.

Eligibility:
The following persons are eligible for appearing in the CTET

Minimum Qualifications for Classes I-V: Primary Stage

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (BElEd). OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*. OR
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
Minimum Qualification for Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage

Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (BEd). OR
Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (BEd), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (BElEd). OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year BA / BScEd or BAEd / BScEd OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year BEd (Special Education)*.
(* Diploma / Degree Course in Teacher Education: For the purposes of this Notification, a diploma / degree course in teacher education recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) only shall be considered)

Application Procedure:
The online submission of particulars may be made at website www.ctet.nic.in during 01.11.2011 to 25.11 .2011. The candidates should supply all the required details while filling up the online form. On submission of details, a Confirmation page with Registration No. shall be generated. Candidates are required to take printout of Confirmation page and paste photograph, sign in the space earmarked for the purpose. The confirmation Page is to be sent by Registered / Speed Post to CBSE (NOT BY COURIER) to " The Assistant Secretary (CTET Unit), Central Board of Secondary Education, 'Shiksha Sadan', 17, Rouse Avenue, New Delhi - 110002" along with original Demand Draft (if fee paid by Demand Draft) for further processing so as to reach latest by 30.11.2011

Eligibility:

For admission to Executive PGDM, Candidates are to be Graduates in the 10+2+3 system or equivalent system in any discipline recognized by Association of Indian Universities with Minimum 5 years of full time post-qualification experience as on March 31, 2012.


For admission to PGDM-PT candidates should have Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized Indian or foreign university with Minimum of 2 years of post-degree full time work experience at executive level as of May 31, 2012. Admission is also open to Entrepreneurs/Owners of small and medium size enterprises desirous of acquiring formal management qualification and Ex-servicemen.

National Institute of Public Co-operation and Child Development (NIPCCD), New Delhi, has invited applications for admission to Advanced Diploma in Child Guidance and Counselling course of Academic Year 2011-12.

ELIGIBILITY
Admission is open to both males and females who fulfill the following criteria:
• Masters degree in Social Work or Psychology or Child Development or Community Resource Management or Development Communication Extension or Special Education from a recognized university; OR
• M. Ed.; OR
• Graduate in Social Work, Psychology, Child Development, Community Resource Management, Development Communication Extension and Special Education from a recognized university with minimum five years of experience of working with children; OR
B. Ed. from recognized university with minimum of four years of experience of working with children.
The candidate applying for admission should be proficient in English.

SALE OF ADMISSION BROCHURE
A payment of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) by cash would have to be made to procure the prospectus and admission form. Candidates belonging to scheduled castes/scheduled tribes are required to submit an attested copy of their caste certificate from a competent authority along with their admission fee as prescribed.
Candidates seeking admission under handicapped quota must produce disability certificate issued by the District Medical Board/Medical Board attached with the Vocational Rehabilitation Centres working under the Ministry of Labour, Govt. of India, certifying their disability as 40% or more and a certificate of suitability issued by the Superintendent, Vocational Rehabilitation Centre for Handicapped, Ministry of Labour, Govt. of India.

The candidates seeking admission under sponsored category shall have a minimum of 2 years of full time work experience as on 30 April, 2011 in the organization sponsoring him/her for admission. Doctoral Fellowship in Criminology and Police Science 2011-2012


Applications have been invited by Bureau of Police Research and Development, New Delhi for Fellowship Programme in Criminology & Police Science aimed to encourage and foster research and development in the field of Criminology and Police Science.

The research will be carried out in any of the priority areas pertaining to Criminology and Police Science. This will cover police organization and functioning, Criminal investigation, Role of the Police in changing society, Crime-Criminals and Victims, Criminal Justice System, Organisation and functioning of criminal courts, correctional administration, juvenile delinquency and the like.

NUMBER, DURATION & VALUE OF FELLOWSHIP:
i) There shall be 6 Fellowships per year for Criminology and Police Science.
ii) The duration of fellowship shall normally be tenable for three years.
iii) The value of each Fellowship shall be Rs. 8,000/-P.M. for the first two and Rs. 9,000/- p.m. for the third year.
iv) A Contingency grant of Rs. 10,000/- per year will be sanctioned to each fellow under each fellowship/scheme.
v) A departmental assistance of Rs. 3,000/- per year will be paid to the department in which the fellow is registered for the Ph.D for providing infrastructural facilities, (Store and equipment, technical and clerical/managerial assistance, traveling cost for giving presentation, assured supply of electricity/Water etc.) to the research fellow under this programme.
vi) HRA and medical benefits may be allowed as per UGC rules.

ELIGIBILITY:
i) The fellowships are open to Indian National of 30 years for General Category and 35 years of age in Reserve Category (SC/ST/OBC).

ii) First or second class Master’s Degree not less than 55% marks for General Category and 50% for Reserve Category (SC/ST/OBC) in Criminology, Sociology, Social work, Psychology, Social Anthropology, Public Administration, Political Science, Law and Police Administration.

iii) The Candidate Should be registered for Ph.D Degree in any of the subjects mentioned above.
Desirable: NET or SET examination (if any) passed, conducted by UGC is an added advantage.

APPLICATIONS:
Applications for award shall be submitted on the prescribed Pro-forma only, available from the website: www.bprd.nic.in, and duly completed by the candidate along with required enclosures to, the Director General, BPR&D, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India, Block No.11, 3rd/4th Floor, CGO Complex, Lodi Road, New Delhi-110 003 on or before the prescribed date.
