Pondicherry Institute Of Medical Sciences (PIMS) invites applications from candidates seeking admission to the following MD and MS PG Courses approved by the M.C.I in General Medicine, General Surgery, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, Community Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Physiology, Pathology, Paediatrics, Anaesthesiology, Microbiology, Orthopaedics and ENT (MCI Recognized) Radio-diagnosis, Pulmonary Medicine, Anatomy, Biochemistry and Pharmacology ( MCI approved). They should appear at the PG entrance to be conducted on 25^,h June 2014 at Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences, Puducherry.

ELIGIBILITY

a) MBBS Degree from a recognized Medical College/University.

b) Internship must be completed by 30^,n May 2014.

c) Permanent registration from any State Medical Council before commencing the Course. SELECTION : Admission will be based on the performance in the Entrance examination.

1. By Post: Write to the Registrar, Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences Ganapathichettikulam, Village No. 20, Kalapet, Pondicherry - 605 014 along with a Demand Draft of Rs 1500/- drawn in favour of Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences, payable at Puducherry.

2. In Person: From the Registrar Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences along with Rs 1500/-in cash or DD.

3. Application can be downloaded from the website: www.pimsmmm.com. Completed applications to be sent along with DD for Rs 1500/- drawn in favour of Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences, payable at Puducherry and sent to the Registrar Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences, Ganapathychetticulum, Kalapet, Puducherry - 605014.

The MCI has permitted the start of MCh (Plastic Surgery) Course (1 seat / year) at

Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences vide their letter No. MCI 1258/(22)/2010-Med

18075 dated 15/6/2011.

Candidates seeking admission for the academic year 2011 -12 can obtain the application from the institution in person or by post.

The cost of the application form is Rs. 1000/- in person by cash (or) Rs. 1050/- by demand draft drawn

in favour of Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences payable at Pondicherry.

Application form can also be downloaded from the website www.pimsmmm.com and submitted

with a DD.

Eligibility: Apass in MS (Master of General Surgery)
