Applications have been invited by Panjab University, Chandigarh for Admission to B. Pharmacy (Credit BasedSemester System), B.Sc. (Hons. School) at P.U. Campus and BHMS at Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Sector-26, Chandigarh through PU - CET (U.G.) Entrance Test scheduled to be conducted on May 23, 2015 (Saturday).

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS:

All those candidates who have passed/appeared (up to the Academic Session 2014-2015) in the 10+2 Examination (Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English) of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi or its equivalent Examination conducted by a recognized Board/University/Council shall be eligible to appear in the PU CET (BHMS) Entrance Test 2015. The admission of candidates for the PU CET (BHMS) Entrance Test shall be

provisional.

B. Sc. (Hons. School Semester System) in various teaching Departments

Botany, Zoology:

Should have passed 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC/ST/BC) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English

Anthropology, Chemistry, Geology, Physics, Physics & Electronics:

Should have passed 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC/ST/ BC) with English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology

Biochemistry, Microbiology:

Should have passed 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC/ST/ BC) with English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology/ Biotechnology

Biotechnology, Biophysics:

Should have passed 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC/ST/ BC) with English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology / Biotechnology / Computer Science

Mathematics, Mathematics & Computing:

Should have passed 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC/ST/ BC) with Mathematics as one of the subjects

B. Pharm. (credit based Semester System):

50% Marks in 10+2 (45% marks in case of SC/ST/BC candidates) with English, Physics, Chemistry and one of the following subject: Biology/Biotechnology/Mathematics.

B.H.M.S.

A person who shall attain the age of 17 years as on 31st December in the year of admission and has passed 10+2 examination from the recognised Board /Bodies / Councils or any other examination recognised as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Panjab University with Physics, Chemistry and Biology after qualifying the entrance test shall be eligible to join the first year class of the course.

Admission Form for B. Pharm. (credit based Semester System) and B.Sc. (Hons. School) shall be available online on Panjab University website (http://cetug.puchd.ac.in)  after declaration of result of PU - CET (U.G.) Entrance Test.

Candidates desirous of seeking admission under the category of Foreign Nationals / Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / NRI seats to B. Pharm. (credit based Semester System) and B.Sc. (Honours School) courses, who are present in India at the time of test, will compete amongst themselves by appearing in the PU - CET (U.G.) Entrance Test-2015. Foreign Nationals / Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / NRI candidates, those living abroad at the time of entrance test will be exempted from the entrance test.

Eligibility for admission:
Admission to the first year of B .Com (General) degree course shall be open to a person who has passed one of the following examinations conducted by a recognized board/council/university.
(i) +2 Examination or B.Com Part I (old scheme) of Panjab University with three of the following subject securing at least 40 % marks in aggregate. (iii) +2 examination or B.A Part I /B.Sc. Part I/ Pre-Engineering /Pre Medical Examination of the Panjab University under the old scheme not covered in (ii) securing at least 50% marks.

(iv) Any other examination recognized by the University as equivalent to (i) or (ii) or (iii) as given above with requisite percentage of marks given under each clause.

Candidates are required to fill online application form available at website http://bcomadmissions.puchd.ac.in

After completing the online form, candidates are required to take printout of the application form and then send the same duly signed through registered/speed post or submit it by hand at University Business School, Arts Block-3, Sector-14, Panjab University, Chandigarh (160014).

A Bank Draft of Rs. 120/-(Rs. 60/-for SC/ST) and requisite document should be attached along with the Application Form. Bank Draft should be in favour of Coordinator B.Com Admissions, Panjab University, payable at Chandigarh.

A candidate can apply for any of the three cities, i.e., Chandigarh, Ludhiana City and Hoshiarpur City.

The candidate applying under sports category (UT Pool) must enclose their gradation certificates from UT for Chandigarh Colleges. However, candidates applying in General Pool (other then UT Pool) in Chandigarh colleges and for colleges situated in Ludhiana and Hoshiarpur cities, certificate from competent authority is required.

Candidates have to attach self-attested copies of the following certificates along with Application Form, failing which the application is will be rejected.
