1. Your
dreams & aspirations could touch new horizons at IGRUA, the pioneer flying
training institution in the country with the state of the art training
facilities. Alumni of IGRUA are already flying the Indian skies over the years
as pilots in national carriers and private airlines.
2. IGRUA offers
Ab-initio to CPL Course for issue of CPL with Multi–engine endorsement and
Instrument Rating (IR) on Multi-engine Aircraft. Shortlisted candidates shall
be inducted as per Final Merit in batches starting 27th November 2014.

3. Eligibility
|
General Candidates

i. Passed English at 10+2 level

Aggregate Marks in Maths & Physics

ii. Minimum 50% Aggregate Marks in Maths & Physics

Note:-
i) In
case SC/ST and OBC candidates do not qualify even after 5% relaxation in the
Entrance Written test, the seats would be de-reserved for
General Category.
ii) Candidates can also opt for B.Sc.
(Aviation) Degree from Chatrapati Sahu Ji Maharaj University Kanpur, being conducted simultaneously with CPL Course. Duration
of this course will be 03 years.
4. Medical:
Selected
candidates may join with class II medical, however they will have to clear
& submit Class-I Medical Fitness Certificate subsequently. Please

5. Training fee:
Rs. 32.50 Lacs
payable in four quarterly installments. The case for levy of service tax is
subjudice and if confirmed by Court, the candidate will have to pay
subsequently the same at applicable rates.
Additional
expenditure for about Rs. 1.50 Lac towards cost of Uniform,
Study Material, Navigation Computer, Head Phones, DGCA/ RTR Examination and
License fee
The
selected candidates will have to pay Rs.11.50 Lacs at the time of joining (Rs.
8.50 Lacs towards first installment of training fee and Rs. 3.00 Lacs deposit
for boarding –lodging and other expenses). Subsequently three quarterly
installments of Rs. 8.00 Lacs towards training fee will be payable.
6. Boarding & Lodging:
Separate Hostels for Boys and Girls. Messing and hostel accommodation within the campus (on twin
sharing basis), is provided. (Charges approximately Rs. 8000/- per month).
7. Selection:
ONLINE Written Test, Viva/Interview and Pilot
Aptitude/Psychometric Test in the following manner:-
a) Written Test:
At
allotted centres on 19 October 2014 (Sunday).

Please
check “ENTRANCE 2014-II” & check centre list on our website. Option for three centers is to be made giving first , second and
third choice.
IGRUA reserves the right to cancel any Center if numbers of
Applicants for the Center are inadequate.
Syllabus
for Written Test:
General
English, Maths, Physics, Reasoning & Current Affairs (10+2 level
objective type questions only).
Qualifying
Marks in Written Test:
The cutoff marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates will be 5% less
from the cut off marks secured by the last candidate in the General category
b) Interview / Viva :
All short listed Candidates will be required to produce
following documents in original as well as one
photocopy of each document at the time of interview :
(i) Proof
of Date of Birth ( such as 10th Class certificate )
(ii) 10th Mark
sheet
(iii) 10+2
Mark sheet
(iv) Caste
Certificate for SC/ST/OBC Candidates
(v) A
Certificate from the competent Authority that the OBC Candidate does not belong
to Creamy layer.
c) Pilot Aptitude Test / Psychometric Test:
- Only
successful candidates in Pilot Aptitude / Psychometric Test shall qualify for final
selection.
- No
relaxation criteria will be applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates in Pilot
Aptitude/Psychometric Test.
8. Admit Cards:
Admit Cards can be downloaded on or after 13 October 2014 (Monday).
9. Travelling Allowance to SC/ST Candidates:
SC/ST candidates will be reimbursed 2nd Class to and fro
rail fare on production of tickets from their registered address to Raebareli
to appear for Interview/Pilot Aptitude/ Psychometric Test.
10. How to apply:
Applications are to be filled online only on prescribed
format. The application form can be reached by clicking on“ENTRANCE 2014-II” available on IGRUA website.
11. Application Fee:
Non refundable application fee of Rs. 6000
for general and OBC candidates, to be paid either through internet banking,
debit or credit cards or through a demand draft drawn on any Bank payable at
Raebareli. The Candidates making payment through demand draft will have to fill
the draft details in online application form as per instructions and forward
the draft to Akademi through speed post. The candidature of such candidates
will be confirmed only after receipt of demand draft at IGRUA. The
instructions are available on our website for the same. The SC & ST candidates are exempt from payment of
application fee.
