Eligibility:
The candidate should have qualified the JRF examination conducted by CSIR/UGC/DBT/ICMR/BINC/DST-INSPIRE or equivalent. Additionally, a GATE score is desirable.

Applications have been invited by Himachal Pradesh Technical University, Hamirpur, HP for admission to first and second year Engineering degree courses in Govt. & Private un-aided Engineering Colleges in Himachal Pradesh.

Eligibility:
The candidate must have passed 10+2 (Class XII) examination or its equivalent from a recognized Board / University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the (a) Chemistry (b) Biology (c) Computer Science (d) Bio-Technology obtaining at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subject taken together
(i) The admission will be made strictly on the merit of rank/marks obtained in AIEEE–2011 conducted by CBSE, New Delhi.
(ii) In case seats remain vacant after exhausting AIEEE merit, the following criteria shall be adopted and the admissions shall be made in following order:-
(a) 50% marks in PCM in 10+2. Candidate will be admitted in order of merit.
(b) 50% marks in aggregate in 10+2 (with PCM subjects) examination will be admitted in the order of merit
(c) The candidate must be a citizen of India with good moral character.

Lateral Entry Seats:
For Engineering/Technology Courses:
(a) Passed Diploma examination from an AICTE approved institution with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology.
(b) Passed BSc Degree from recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed XII standard with mathematics as a subject.
(c) Provided that in case of students belonging to BSc Stream, shall clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics/Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the first year engineering program along with the second year subjects.
(d) Provided further that the students belonging to BSc Stream shall be considered only after filling the supernumerary seats in this category with students belonging to the Diploma stream.
(e) Provided further that students, who have passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology from an AICTE approved Institution or BSc Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, shall also be eligible for admission to the 1st year Engineering Degree Courses subject to vacancies in the 1st year class in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

Eligibility:
1. Certificate Course in Hindi -

2. Diploma Course in Hindi - Subsequent to the Certificate Course is open to those who fulfill (I) above and have either passed Certificate Course conducted by Central Hindi Directorate or who possess sufficient background of Hindi or who have appeared in Certificate Course Examination in May 2011.

3. Advance Diploma Course in Hindi - It is open to all Indians and foreigners residing in India or abroad whose mother tongue is not Hindi. Minimum age limit for admission as on 1/7/2011 is 17 years.

Fee for Certificate / Diploma Course in Hindi.
A fee of Rs. 50/- from candidate residing in India and US Dollars $ 50 or Pound 30 or equivalent to Indian currency from candidate residing abroad is charged for each course.

Fee for Advance Diploma Course in Hindi
(1) Candidate residing in India - Rs. 200/-
(2) Candidate residing abroad - US$ Dollars 200 or Pound 120.
Where Dollar or Pound is not a currency then equivalent to the currency of the concerned country will be accepted.
Fee can be remitted by crossed Postal Order or Bank Draft in favour of the Director, Central Hindi Directorate, payable at New Delhi.
