Application
are invited through online from eligible candidates to the following academic
progrmmes for the academic year 2014-’15 at the Main Centre and various Regional
Centres of Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady. Name of the Centre

ELIGIBILITY
FOR ADMISSION
i) For M.A.& M.S.W
Admission to
various M.A.& M.S.W. Programmes for the academic year 2014-15 is based on the
marks obtained in the Entrance Examination /interview to be conducted in May
2014.
Eligibility for applying to M.A./M.S.W programme is
a degree of this University or a degree recognized by this University under the
10+2+3 pattern. Those regular students under Choice based Credit and Semester
System of B.A. programme who have successfully completed all the courses and
semesters of I to V Semesters and appearing for the final semester examination
in April 2014 are also eligible to apply for the courses offered on the
condition that they should produce the provisional degree certificate by
31.8.2014. Bachelor’s Degree in Dance is necessary for M.A. Dance,
(Bharathanatyam & Mohiniyattom). An aptitude test will be conducted for
M.A. Music in addition to the written test.
ii) For M.P.Ed.
a) Should have passed Bachelor of Physical
Education (B.P.Ed) of three year duration of any University recognized by Sree
Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit OR have passed a Post Graduate Degree
(B.P.Ed) in Physical Education of at least one year duration of an Indian or
Foreign University or board approved by the Education Department of the State
or Union territory recognized by the Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit,
with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
b) Should be medically fit and free from physical
deformities for daily heavy load of physical activities.
c) Medical Certificate duly certified by a
registered medical practitioner in the prescribed format enclosed with the
application form should be produced at the time of selection trials.
SELECTION
PROCEDURE
All eligible
candidates applied for admission to various programmes under this notification
will be called for an Entrance Examination/Interview and aptitude test as the
case may be.
OPTION FACILITY
There will
be separate entrance examination / interview for each branch/courses and a candidate
can opt only three branches in M.A. Degree. The candidates are free to apply
for any branches/courses (except M.A. Dance) regardless of the subjects they
had taken in their graduate level. Separate application form should be used for
MA , MSW and M.P.Ed. Courses.

HOW TO
REGISTER THE APPLICATIONS
Candidates
seeking admission to the above P.G. Programme shall register application for
Entrance Examination through online in the University Website www.ssus.ac.in on
or before 30.4.2014.
The fee for
entrance examination is Rs.100/- for M.A., Rs.250/- for MSW and 500/- for
M.P.Ed. (SC/ST candidates need pay Rs.25/- for M.A., Rs.50/- for M.S.W. and
100/- for M.P.Ed.). Those who wants to appear for more than one subject of the Entrance
Examination of the M.A. Course should pay an additional fee of Rs.50/- each per
subject. (SC/ST Rs.10/- each)
The fee for
Entrance Examination should be paid along with the application by way of SSUS
chalan receipt which can be remitted at any branch of the Union Bank of India.
The fee can also be remitted by way of DD drawn in favour of the Finance Officer,
Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit payable at Union Bank of India, Kalady
branch. Applicants should note their name, address with phone number and purpose
on the reverse side of the DD.
Submission of Print Copy of online Application
The print
copy of the online applications should be submitted to Assistant Registrar
(Examinations), Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady P.O., Ernakulam
District, Kerala , Pin-683 574 on or before 06.05.2014 with copies of all documents
in proof qualification, community/caste etc. and the original fee receipt/Demand
Draft.
