Admission Notice 2014
Applications are invited for the Post Graduate
Certificate in English Communication (PGCEC) course conducted by Centre for
English Language and Communication Skills (CELCS), Mahatma Gandhi University,
Kottayam (Tel. No. 0481-2732949) from graduates (any discipline) interested in
developing their communication skills in English. The course is a full-time
course of approximately of eight weeks duration. Student intake is restricted
to 20.
Graduates (any discipline) from any recognized
Indian or foreign university are eligible to apply. Rank list will be prepared
on the basis of the percentage of marks obtained in English at the +2 level or
equivalent examination. University rules regarding reservation will be
followed. The course fee is Rs.4,000.00. (SC/ST Rs.2,000.00)
Application forms may be had either from CELCS's
office at Gandhi Bhavan, Mahatma Gandhi University campus on payment of
Rs.100/-per form or may be downloaded from the University website www.mgu.ac.in . or through email on receipt of
e-request at mgu.celcs@gmail.com.
Application forms duly filled in should reach the
office of the Hon. Director, Centre for English Language and Communication
Skills (CELCS), Gandhi Bhavan, Mahatma Gandhi University, Priyadarshini Hills,
Kottayam: 686 560 on or before 07.04.2014.
