M.Ed Admission Notice 2014-2015 (Distance Mode)

Applications have been invited by DISTANCE EDUCATION CENTRE, SRI PADMAVATI MAHILA VISVAVIDYALAYAM (WOMEN’S UNIVERSITY), Tirupati for admission to M.Ed. (Distance Mode) Programme of Academic Year 2014-15.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Only women candidates are eligible for admission.

2. The candidate for admission into M.Ed. (D.M) Programme should have passed B.Ed. or its equivalent Degree with a minimum of 55% marks (aggregate of theory and practicum) from Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam or any other University recognized by University Grants

Commission. There shall be relaxation of 5% (i.e. 50% minimum marks) for SC/ST candidates as per the rules of State Government of Andhra Pradesh.

3. The candidate must be in-service with a B.Ed. degree and must be working in a recognized educational institute with atleast 2 years of regular full time service after completion of B.Ed. Course

(i) as SGT/ School Assistant/ PRT/ TGT/ PGT, OR (ii) as Lecturer in Colleges / DIETs/SCERTs, OR

(iii) as Administrator as PEO/MEO/Dy. DEO/ DEO/ Principal.

Application Modality:

Application forms can be availed from Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam, Padmavathi Nagar, Near West Railway Station, Tirupati, Chittoor (D.t), Andhra Pradesh for following cost:

By hand : Rs.500-00

By Post : Rs.550-00

Last Date for receipt of filled in Application: 21.04.2014

Downloaded application (from http://www.spmvv.ac.in)  should be sent along with a DD for Rs.500/-

Late Fee : Rs.100/- from 22.04.2014 to 30.04.2014

Duly filled-in application should be supported with following:

1. Attested copies of

a. marks list of SSC and B.Ed. or its equivalent Degree.

b. B.Ed. Provisional/Degree or its equivalent Degree certificate

c. Study certificate from 9th to Degree/residence certificate.

d. Conduct Certificate from the institution last studied.

e. Integrated caste certificate

f. relevant certificate if reservation is claimed under other special category

g. Service certificate and no objection certificate duly signed by the competent authority.
