MSc Applied Nutrition Admission Notice 2015

National Institute of Nutrition, Hyderabad has invited applications for admission to MSc (Applied Nutrition) course of Academic Year 2015-16, affiliated to Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Andhra Pradesh.

Eligibility:

Candidates for admission to MSc (Applied Nutrition) Course should have passed in any of the following examinations of the University of Andhra Pradesh or any other University recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) as equivalent thereto Qualifications:

i.   MBBS

ii.  BSc (Nutrition)            

iii. BSc (Home Science)

iv.  BSc (with Biochemistry or Nutrition as one of the major subjects)

v.   BSc Nursing                 

Age:

Maximum age limit for admission into MSc (Applied Nutrition) Course shall be 50 years by 31st December 2015.  In case of SC, ST the Maximum age shall be relaxed by 3 years.

Registration Fee:

All applications should be accompanied by original Demand Draft for an amount of Rs.3000/- (Rupees three thousand only) in respect of OC / OBC / BCs candidates and Rs. 2700/- (Rupees Two thousand seven hundred only) for SC/ST candidates towards Registration fee, drawn in favour of THE DIRECTOR, NIN, payable at HYDERABAD on any Nationalized Bank.

Duly filled in applications along with DD towards registration fee and necessary enclosures under State and Central quota should be  submitted to the Head of the Department, Extension and Training Division, National Institute of Nutrition, Tarnaka, Jamai Osmania Post, Hyderabad - 500 007.

Application should reach the designated office on or before 5 pm of 30.06.2015.

Documents to be enclosed along with Application Form

1. Original DD for Rs. 3000/- (for OC / OBC / BC) & Rs. 2700/- (for SC/ST) towards application fee.

2. Clear and legibly typed and attested by Gazetted Officer or clearly visible attested photocopies of all marks statements from 1st to Final year of qualifying exam.

3. Attested copy of the Internship Certificate mentioning date of commencement and completion of Internship wherever applicable.

4. Attested copy of Provisional or Original Degree Certificate of qualifying exam.

5. Attested Copies of Study Certificates from 9th to qualifying examination.

6. Attested copy of X class or equivalent certificate as proof of age

7. If the applicant has not studied qualifying examination in the state, he/she shall submit following certificates as per regulation 5.2 to 5.6 whichever is applicable to the applicant (refer Prospectus).

(a) 10 Years Residence Certificate of the candidate in the State of T.S and A.P. (OR)

(b) 10 Years Residence Certificate of either of the Parents / Spouse (Certificate of relationship also shall be enclosed)

8. Social Status (Caste) Certificate.

9. Candidates claiming eligibility as Local / Non-Local should furnish relevant certificates in support of their claim.

10. Candidates who have studied in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

a) If the candidate has studied in any educational institution, study / bonafide certificate from IX to degree (Govt. ZPH / Private School or College) shall be submitted.

b) A candidate who has studied in 2 or more institutions in various places in Andhra Pradesh including Telangana, study bonafide certificate from IX to degree (Govt. / ZPH / Private School or College) in those places shall be submitted.

c) A candidate who has not studied a class in any school / institution, a residence certificate for that period only shall be submitted.

d) Candidate who have not studied in any school / college in the state of T.S / A.P., but resided in Andhra Pradesh including Telangana with private study in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh for seven years with residence certificate mentioning the period of residence preceding the qualifying examination (6th to Inter) by the candidate claiming eligibility as a local by virtue of residence shall be submitted.

11. Candidates who have studied in the institutions outside the State of Andhra Pradesh have to submit 10 years residence certificate of the either of the parents issued by MRO to claim seats under unreserved category.

Entrance Test:

Entrance test will be conducted on Sunday, 2nd August 2015 from 11.00 am to 12.30 pm at Vijayawada for admission of candidates for the academic year 2015-16. The candidates shall collect their Hall Tickets IN PERSON between 9.30 am and 5.00 pm on 31.07.2015 at NIN, Hyderabad and on 01.08.2015 at Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada.

1. Submission - The first step is to submit the Application form with all the necessary details. Admission Process

1. Application for admission should be made in the prescribed form which is attached with this prospectus.

2. Application form properly filled should be sent along with Registration fee of ` 400/-

3. Candidates seeking admission to the course should attach the following with the application.

a. Photostat or certified copies of mark list of the highest qualification, and that of Date of Birth Certificate.

b. Four Passport size Photographs.

4. Applications which are either incomplete or unaccompanied by prescribed fees are liable for rejection.

5. Application can be submitted in person at the office along with required documents between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on any

working day, or, can also be submitted by post.

6. Fee concession of 5% will be given to girl students in Tuition Fee only.

7. Student may be called for interview/written test, depending on the number of application received.

8. If the student qualifies in the Interview/Written Test a seat is provided to him and he will be required to pay the admission fee on that particular day only.

9. In the event of a candidate fails to deposit the fees, admission shall be given to the next candidates in the merit waiting list in order to complete the intake. Such candidate will have to deposit their fees on or before scheduled date and time for admission to the relevant course.

10. However admission to School of Aeronautics (Neemrana) for B.Tech (Aeronautical) and B.Tech (AME) will be made by a selection committee comprising of three highly qualified staff under the chairmanship of the Director of the Organization, and his decision will be final and binding.
