Entrance Examination for admission to the B.E Courses 2009-2010

The Entrance Examination for admission to the B.E Courses at Avinasalingam University for Women, Coimbatore will be held at the institute on 11th April, 2009.  The 4 year Under Graduate programmes (B.E) are offered in the branches (

i) Bio Medical Instrumentation Engineering

(ii) Civil Engineering

(iii) Computer Science and Engineering

(iv) Electronics and Communication  Engineering

(v) Electrical and Electronics Engineering

(vi) Food Processing and Preservation Technology

(vii) Information Technology and

(viii) Printing Technology.

Applicant should have passed the 12th Standard CBSE  or any other State Board of School Examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with minimum of 55  % for OC, 50% for BC, MBC and others. SC/ST applicants need only a minimum pass in each subject. Applicant must have been born on or after 1.7.1988.

Application forms and Prospectus will be available at the University office, Coimbatore- 641 043 on payment of Rs.600/- by cash (Rs.300/- for SC/ST). They can be  obtained by Post on sending a request to the Registrar,  along with a DD for Rs.650/- (Rs.350/- for SC/ST) take in  favour of the 'Registrar, Avinasalingam University for Women', payable at Coimbatore. The materials can also be downloaded from  www.auengg.com or www.avinuty.ac.in and submitted as directed. The last date for receipt of completed applications by Registrar, Avinasalingam University for Women, Coimbatore- 641 043 is 31.3.2009.
