Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma Admissions 2011 - (Private Medical /Dental colleges of Karnataka for the academic year 2011-2012)

 

The Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, will be conducting the entrance test on 30.01.2011 for admission to Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma courses in Government Medical/Dental colleges and Government seats in Private Medical /Dental colleges of Karnataka for the academic year 2011-2012.

Eligibility:
Candidates who fulfill the following criteria shall be eligible to appear for the Entrance Test, namely:-
(a) He/She is a citizen of India.
(b) He/She must have studied and passed the courses leading to the award of MBBS/BDS Degrees in colleges recognized by Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India and Government of India established by law and located in Karnataka State; or
(c) Candidate must be of Karnataka origin who has studied MBBS/BDS degrees in colleges outside Karnataka recognized by Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India and Government of India and affiliated to any University established by law in India. Explanation:- 'Candidates of Karnataka origin' means who or his/her parents (father or mother) has been a resident of Karnataka State for a period of not less than ten years, and who produces a certificate from the Concerned Tahsildar to that effect in the prescribed form (Appendix VII).
(d) He/She has completed or is completing compulsory rotatory internship on or before 30th April of the year in which application for entrance test is called for subject to completion of internship course.
(e) Must be less than 45 years of age as on the date of admission to Postgraduate course.

Application:
All candidates have to submit the application ONLINE through website link: https://www.rguhs.ac.in/pget2011/pget.php
Online registration starts on 22-11-2010 and ends on 31-12-2010.
Candidates have to pay the prescribed fee through Demand Draft in favour of 'Registrar, RGUHS, Bangalore'. as follows:
SC, ST and Category - I - Rs. 400/- (Rupees Four hundred only)
GM & Others - Rs. 1500/- (Rupees One thousand and five hundred only)

Printout of Application form filled online, along with attested copies of all required certificates, two extra photos and the Demand Draft are to be submitted/sent for registration at/to RGUHS, 4th 'T' Block, Jayanagar, Bangalore - 560 041.

Last date for submission of application form is 20/12/2010 by Post and 31/12/2010 in person.
