Admission to Ph.D Programme

Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for pursuing Doctoral Research jointly offered by the Department of Polymer Technology of B S Abdur Rahman University and Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology (CIPET) , Chennai under sponsored R & D projects scheme. For undertaking joint research program , B S Abdur Rahman University and CIPET have signed MoU and have excellent infrastructure and facilities.
The areas of research include
 High performance polymers
 Polymer blends and alloys
 Bio polymers
 Nano composites
 Nano fibres
 Nnano coatings

Eligibility criteria
Age limit : 30years

Essential qualification : MSc degree in Chemistry / Chemistry with specialization in polymer /polymer science /Materials science from a recognized University
or
M Tech in Polymer / plastics technology / engineering from a recognized University

Stipend * : Rs 12000 /- per month plus free accommodation
* Fellowship under the sponsored project of CSIR from CIPET

Net / GATE qualified candidates with a consistent First Class career will be given preference
