Eligibility:
1 She/he should have been a student of BE/BTech programme of a recognised Institute/University and have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from recognized board and have secured at least 60% (55% for SC/ST candidates) marks in aggregate of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Computer Science/Biology/Biotechnology.
2 She/he should have appeared in the Entrance Test to be conducted by Thapar University. The cut-off marks in the Entrance test shall be 20% (15% for SC/ST).
Application:
Cost of Prospectus cum application form is Rs.2250/- (Cost of Prospectus + Examination fee)= ( Rs.1250/- + Rs.1000)
Those who are applying ONLINE or by downloading the form from websitelink: http://thapar.edu/userfiles/file/Admission%20form.pdf have to attach demand draft of Rs. 2250/- in favour of Thapar University and payable at Patiala alongwith the form.
The (Cost of Prospectus + Examination fee) Rs. 2250/- can also be deposited in any branch of State Bank of Patiala (Name of Account: Thapar University, Account Number: 65051004116)
The completed form alongwith DD, photocopies of AIEEE & 10+2 have to be sent to Incharge Admission Cell, Academic Section, Thapar University, Patiala-147004, Punjab.
Last date for receipt of application forms is November 22, 2010
