BTECH- UPESEAT- 2011 (Management Entrance Test) for BTech  programs will be held in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chennai, Chandigarh, Delhi, Dehradun, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna, Varanasi, Vishakhapatnam
 
Eligibility: Minimum 60% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th)

Minimum 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics at Senior Secondary level mandatory

Admission Criteria: UPES Engineering Aptitude Test (UPESEAT) followed by Centralized counseling

OR

Board Merit/ AIEEE Merit followed by counseling through Merit Ranking

Board Merit; Minimum 80% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th) and minimum 80% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics at Senior Secondary level
 Counseling through Merit Ranking
 
AIEEE Merit:

1.      Minimum 60% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th) and minimum 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics at Senior Secondary level also mandatory

2.      AIEEE RANK- upto 1 Lakh (All India Rank)
 Counseling through Merit Ranking
 

 

100% Scholarship on Tuition Fee:

1.      Scholarship will be offered to students securing an aggregate of 85% marks in class XII & 90% for B.Tech (All Streams) in CBSE or ICSE Examination Board. Such Scholarships will be limited to 5% of seats in each B.Tech Program

2.      Scholarships will be given on the basis of Merit only.

3.      Continuation of Scholarship in the subsequent year will be as per the University policy.

Scholarship/Fee Concession

University of Petroleum & Energy Studies offers limited scholarships in some specific programs as decided by the University.

The scholarships are awarded purely on academic merit cum means.

 Waiving of Tuition Fee partially/fully will be considered for those who are awarded scholarships.

The details of the scholarships would be provided to the students in the student's bulletin given to the students at the time of registration.

Award of Scholarships will be decided by the Scholarship Committee & its decision shall be final and binding.

25% Concession on Tuition fee shall be provided only to Uttarakhand domicile students on merit-cum-means basis to be decided by the University subject to fulfilling the following conditions:

-          Students' whose gross annual family income is not more than 2 lakhs,

-          Students' who posses valid domicile certificate from Uttarakhand state,

-          Should have passed class X & XII level schooling from Uttarakhand. However, this condition may be relaxed for wards of defense personnel subject to production of posting certificate outside the state issued by competent authority.
